Best stay in Grenada so far

We stayed here for a few nights, having enjoyed a lunch here last year. Our Tower Room was beautifully presented and well-equipped. AC quiet and efficient, with an added ceiling fan. The bed was extremely comfortable and guaranteed a good nights sleep. The hotel site is clean and well-maintained. Staff were friendly and courteous, especially Devenne. The restaurant served fresh local food at all three meals. Courtesy transport to the beach was much appreciated. Cannot recommend True Blue too highly and will definitely stay here again.

Overall, we liked it. It feels like a tranquil secluded oasis. The staff accommodated all our requests. Beach shuttle is an excellent addition. There are multiple dining options around the resort. We swam in the lap pool multiple times.

Beautiful, well maintained property. Staff is friendly and the front desk is helpful. Getting fresh towels can sadly be a lengthy chore, but the beautiful and peaceful surroundings easily make up for it. We took advantage of the free shuttle to the beach and I really enjoyed the classes offered in the beautiful open air yoga studio. We also really enjoyed just spending time by the pools on the property. The food was good and the Wednesday night street food is a really fun event that brings in a lot of locals as well. Loved all the life music. Highly recommended!

I wished they had more frequent shuttles to grand Anse and also a shuttle to the airport would be good PR. They are very close to the airport. I stayed for 4 nights and my checkout time was noon (not 11:00). I asked for a late check out for 1pm and was told for 60$ USD I could. I would not pay that for an extra hour so I didn’t do it. I did however notice that at 1 pm the housekeeper was still 3 doors down. I needed a room change on my second day for multiple reasons and they were fairly good about that. They seamed to need to ensure availability (which is reasonable) and asked me to come back in an hour, which I did, and the room was granted. Once I moved to the new unit, I noticed that almost all the units were empty my entire stay. Strange but I didn’t say anything, just thought it odd. The staff were ok, hit and miss. The place is quite colourful and clean. The hot breakfast was quite nice. Entertainment was great at the Dodgy Dock. I couldn’t get a “hi” out of the Aquanaught staff. I’m a diver and I knew I didn’t want to dive with such unfriendly people so I didn’t interrupt their mood to even ask. Overall, I’d say 7.5/10

We loved the family feel of this resort. The breakfast that was included was amazing and local. We were there to tour the University, and it was a safe, 10 minute walk. It's extremely difficult to find something that we didn't like. In fact, we really can't think of one thing. Returning SOON!!!

The bath had no plug and the jacuzz did not work. There was no plug in the sink of the kitchenette so could not wash up. There was no bathrobes as advertised. There was no bottled water as advertised The food in the Restaraunt was poor. My wife’s meal came first which she had consumed before my meal arrived. Even the knife and fork was laid in front of us upside down.

An amazing property, gorgeous setting, and outstanding staff! The rooms are well appointed, pools are fabulous, the restaurant and bars are staffed by helpful and friendly employees. Close to SGU and in a safe neighborhood. We will be returning soon!

There was a lot to enjoy about this property, the staff were all super friendly. The apartment was lovely and the restaurants had a great atmosphere. The only two things that let the property down was the quality of the sheets (our bed sheet felt bobbly) and a lack if cold water availability while we were there. Theyre really small points amd didnt detract from our stay which we really enjoyed

True Blue is a nice family friendly resort. The staff is always pleasant and accommodating. I only have two small complaints: 1. Room service can be improved. I tried to order room service (dining) on a Wednesday night and got no response. I get the resort has a great food truck event on Wednesdays, but your resort members may not want to deal with the crowds. When I ordered room service the next night. The food was delivered in a shabby manner. 2. The room while clean had areas that were dated and could use updating/refresh.

True Blue has its positives and negatives. The rooms are very spacious, and the verandas are lovely overlooking the marina. There are multiple pools and a few bars. Breakfast is included and it's robust enough with cereals, yogurts, bagels, coffee, tea, and juice, and hot dishes such as swordfish excellent), beans, sausage, bacon, waffles, french toast, pancakes, and made to order omelettes on Sundays. I was disappointed in the service overall. Check-in time was 3 and my room wasn't ready until almost 5. I waited in the restaurant where is was difficult to be served or even given a menu. This wait happened three times. The front desk also didn't want to compensate for the late check-in time. An offer to compensate for dinner or allow a later checkout would have been fair. The shower in the room takes a few minutes to heat up to warm but not hot. Rooms are efficiencies, so you can buy food downtown and save a few dollars. My tour guide, Royan Smith of Bonanza Stables, was the highlight. I'm thankful for them connecting me with him. The resort offers twice daily trips to Grand Anse. They also have yoga and a spa on property. I didn't try either. Not enough time. I heard that the Wednesday live music at the Dodgy Dock is the place to be, but I left on Tuesday. Overall, for the price, I think you get your money's worth. It's a drive into town and not on the beach, but just enough luxury for people who want a quiet getaway with access to the city & island.
