The room was semi clean with a bad smell. One thing that can be improved is the staff attitude towards people who book using Expedia. It seems that they don't want to see you if you book using Expedia. They certainly don't want to do anything to help you if you book using Expedia. And it's not just that hotel. I used Expedia to book 5 different hotels in St John's in the last 4 months and the experience as been the same at all 5 places.

The Front office person from check in was so friendly and helpful same with the check out person. Breakfast selection are good, but for the potato it's bit dry and hard already, the rest are excellent. Pool are are so warm and we loved it. Overall stay was excellent experience thank you

We got there and the sliding front doors wouldn't work. Then we get to our room and there is no working heat, we slept with 2 comforters and 3 beige blankets. Somehow lost a white charger block in between changing rooms the next day and went to check to see if anybody had passed one in but they didn't. There is no hand lotion or USB charging ports. I would recommend the sandman over the Fairfield.
