Terrific communication with hosts.Gave help with door lock instructions when needed, AND put retrieving my forgotten medication into action so that I had it with me when we flew home! A special thank you to Ian for that!A special thank you to Louise for making the cleanliness of the home in tip-top shape when we arrived!UNBELIEVABLY SPECTACULAR VIEWS!!Might suggest supplying walking sticks for trekking the trail out front…Would recommend getting a teapot and also a few more glasses, coffee mugs, plates and flatware.Delicious local coffee provided.Maybe tea bags too???Soaps and shampoo have a lovely scent, but for those with sensitive skin would recommend a milder fragrance such as Dove or Ivory as an alternative.Firewood was a nice touch… too bad to expect the guests to be responsible to replenish…Thank you for sharing this unique home. Never had time for the hot tub

The hot tub could definitely melt your troubles away at night watching the lights of the harbour....n the bed, it was so soft n cozy... they had all the basics you would need yet would probably forget lol. Helpful host, quick to respond. Clean property, lovely interior. Great view of signal hill from the balcony/front porch. Bonus hot tub makes the view even nicer! Hot tub was very clean. Bed was quite comfortable, seemed to be memory foam. Saw a few bugs inside the property; only real negative, if that bothers you. Parking was a bit difficult, as you have to back up hill quite a ways and get as close to the guard rail as possible so others can get around you. Parking happens to be right at the base of a hiking trail, which is also nice.

We had a beautiful stay in this breathtaking location. Watching the boats, seeing the sunrise and enjoying the views of Signal Hill. All the amenities of home plus a relaxing hot tub. Owner was quick to respond to queries. You won’t regret this choice.

The views from the deck are gorgeous!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The hot tub is a great touch. The rooms are a good size and nice to have two queen size beds! My only comment is in regards to the parking. It’s quite tricky and would not be suitable to someone who isn’t comfortable backing up a road to park. Overall we would recommend !!

La vue est superbe, mais le chemin pour s’y rendre et le stationnement sont particulièrement difficiles (on doit circuler à travers les travailleurs du port et circuler de reculons sur le chemin pour l’accès à un seul stationnement). L’appartement est bien équipé mais a besoin d’être rafraîchi et rénové (le béton des marches du long escalier est à réparer, c’est presque dangereux. Le spa sur le balcon est vraiment cool. Les propriétaires auraient avantage à laisser un petit cahier d’informations sur le fonctionnement général, leurs coordonnées pour les rejoindre ainsi que des recommandations de restaurants ou de lieux à visiter.

Lovely stay 15 minutes drive from St. Johns

Everything is great; parking a minor challenge but doable. Should have screens so windows be opened vs using A/C. Really appreciate the supplies available (coffee, laundry supplies). We really enjoyed our stay!!
