Continental breakfast could include cereal and bagels. For a 7 day stay muffins were getting boring and instant oatmeal in warm weather is not overly appealing. Our bed was very comfortable. A feather top on the mattress I think!

Quaint and a nice break from the traditional box brand chains. Has a rustic 1980s feel with splashes of luxury added in. I would stay here again when in St. John's, no question.

100% recommend booking with Murray Premises Hotel again. Walking distance, loved their complimentary breakfast. Staff was amazing, room had character and was very comfortable! Highly recommend the The Gypsy Tea Room...best breakfast in town!!!! Worst experience was eating at The Ship Pub....terrible service all around!!

Must stay in St. John’s

We had an excellent stay at the Murray promises hotel, the location could not be better just steps away from excellent excellent restaurants, things to do during the day as well as things to do during the evening and night. The rooms were very clean, updated, and comfortable. I would certainly recommend this place if you’re visiting St. John’s.

This hotel is great for people that prefer a more interesting space than a conventional hotel. Close walk to the downtown area and the staff was really friendly. Note if youre on the 4th floor you need to walk up one flight of stairs.

Great Hotel

Really loved the older charm this hotel had, the upkeep of the building is excellent. Not a cookie cutter like other hotels and not rundown like many other older hotels. Room was huge and so was the bathroom. Very clean and the little fireplace added a cozy, comforting touch.

Location is excellent. This hotel is on the waterfront, just steps from the pedestrian areas of Water Street and George Street, which are full of shops and restaurants. The hotel is a historic building, full of character, but with modern amenities. We enjoyed the live music nightly in the courtyard. Breakfast was adequate - muffins, croissants, etc. Easy to get to and free parking. Rooms above the third floor are accessible by stair only. We enjoyed our 2 night stay here.
