We came back to this hotel because we enjoyed our stay last year. When we got to our room, I began inspecting the bed to ensure no bed bugs and there was a bloody, crusty booger on second blanket. I called the front desk and they switched us to a new room right away. The picture on the wall was also dirty. Other than that, the stay was okay. We like the omelette station.

Good two-night stay overall. Clean, comfortable room with great breakfast and excellent restaurant staff and a convenient parking. Front desk was ok. Only issue was the 3rd-floor hallway, which had a bad smell and an unclean floor drain area, though the room itself was very clean.

What a wonderful hotel. Everything was spotless, towels plentiful, breakfast was superb and every employee we encountered were genuinely friendly and polite. We stayed an additional night because it was so comfortable. We will definitely be staying again.

We have been staying here for years now when we visit Family. One thing that stands out is the staff. We rarely have an issue however this last visit the hotel had a power surge as storms were closing in on the area and our electronic shower went down, I called down to the front desk and within minutes we were up and running again,literally minutes! Smiles were included ! Staff at the Clayton loves thier jobs and many have been here for decades like the cook in the kitchen who's omletes are absolutely delicious and always prepared with a smile and this includes the holidays when most of my stays occur. The Clayton hotel must be doing something very right to keep such good staff for so long and this is the main reason we stay here, the staff makes us feel like Family and we are sticking with them for many years to come. Thank you all !
