I was unable to check in due to a family emergency
When I booked the room on the site it said that pets stay free. When I got to the hotel check in they said it would be a 75 dollar fee. I showed on the website that it currently said pets stay free and I was told that it wasn’t true and hadn’t been updated yet and it was a 75 dollar fee. Part of the reason I booked this room over another is because I was told a pet can stay free.

I booked and paid for this hotel through Expedia in OCTOBER! I was never notified that there was a problem. We showed up at 3pm to check in and were told that the hotel was oversold by 10 rooms and I would have to find my own accommodations!! Scrambled in their lobby and found an EXCELLENT substitution!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!
The hotel and the room were very up-to-date, clean and inviting, the staff including the security guards (James, Norris and Mike) were all very professional, full of information about the area, restaurants and sights. They all went out of their way to help us and were so friendly. The breakfast was changing every day and better than your normal hotel breakfast. And the hotel was convenient to everything downtown
Lobby floor has fun things to do to keep busy if needing to be at the hotel like a pool table and plenty of seating to read or do computer work, friendly staff, and we enjoyed the clean updated room.

Phone had some nasty stuff on it that got all over ur hands. Tv went out & couldnt fix next morning, no one was available to fix that night. No hot water one night. Kids running up and down hall late at night making lots of noise. Other than that, staff was very pleasant.

NOT SAFE! Do not stay here. It is not safe to be outside the hotel in this area. There is unfortunately a homeless population that is outside the library next door. The church right next to the hotel has a Narcan box which they stay around for. We saw an overdose within minutes of arriving at the hotel and locals said they frequently are violent and to not walk past them. Even in daylight it is dangerous. Pay whatever you have to to stay somewhere else.
