Large Units, Hands-Off Style Service

Unit was large & spacious. Coffee from last guest had mold and was left inside - no biggie. Place was clean otherwise. Front desk staff was not always to be found, and no one answered when we called. But overall, stay was good, and I would stay again.

It's growing pains but it's worth it!

The hotel is undergoing remodeling so I write this with an understanding it's possible it will be gone tomorrow. The floor looked clean but it was a newly laid floor and it left filth on my feet and socks. The bathroom flooring had water visible when you stepped on the floor. I will forever complain about the lack of lighting in the shower area of the bathroom. It's horrendous! But, it is safe and comfortable. The kitchen is always top notch. We didn't have towels but it was genuinely an oversight. The staff is more than pleasant. I will stay there again but there's a few things that need to be dealt with during the remodel.

The suite smells strongly of cigarette smoke. Had to ask for a hair dryer. The soap and shampoo dispensers in the shower were empty, tiny sample bottle of shampoo was not enough for 2 nights. Supposed to be extended stay, but no pots and pans. The sofa bed mattress was horrible and no blanket for it. Otherwise good location, walking distance to a nice shopping and restaurant district.

Positives: The property has an off duty officer that parks near the office at night. It’s very conveniently located near the Galleria mall. The whole street and area near galleria mall is pretty nice. Negatives: This place needs an extreme deep clean and some renovations. Half of our bathroom floor linoleum was missing revealing bare concrete. Because of the location of this place, it has a LOT of potential. But in its current condition, I wouldn’t spend more than 100 a night and that is majorly pushing it.
