Nightmare!

No lights outside - our room was in the back and upstairs. No dishes of any kind in the cupboard or drawers. Before 8- the breakfast was empty- they serve until 8:30. they shut off the hot bar and threw out a few packets of instant oatmeal. nobody at the front desk so we called - they said they were short staffed and we could wait around until after 10 to talk to a manager - will never stay here again.

Accused me of smoking in my room. I don’t even smoke. They kept my deposit.. I’ve stayed with them for years with no issues until now. Also needed assistance with the grill and the guy said he didn’t know how to work it and left it at that..

Hotel staff at check-in was friendly & efficient. After that the only interactions we had with staff were when we stopped at the desk to get more towels. (Housekeeping is only if you stay a full week.) The pictures online were likely taken after the last remodel in 2011. I don't mind when a hotel is dated, however the room we were in was not well maintained. The ceiling fan was very loose and one of the closet doors was off the track and couldn't be opened or closed. The room was mostly clean, except one bathroom sink still had some whiskers in it and the carpets were in need of a good cleaning or to be replaced. Breakfast had unusual food choices and seemed to run out early.

The setup is way smaller than expected from the pictures on the internet. You can barely close the bathroom door because the toilet is so close. The pull-out couch had an old thin mattress with urine stains. Our room was not stocked adequately -we had to ask for bedding, needed shower wash which we never got, and found two nails randomly on the carpet. I was trying to give this place a chance but I called the office to check out early the employee told me the manager wouldn't be in until Monday and he can't issue a refund or guarantee she would anyway.
