Soo we had an impromptu hockey tournament for my daughter. Unfortunately all other hotels were sold out with the accommodation we needed. Super 8 had the necessary accommodation for my family of 4. Looking at the reviews I wonder how this hotel has such stellar reviews. First off walking in to the establishment there is a faint odor of smoke, the front desk staff were very helpful. We get to our room and the room felt very humid. AC was running very cold which was great, but humid. I hear yelling and realized the window was wide open, that would explain the humidity...so i close the window thinking"well thats not secure and noticed my view for the weekend was a trailer park. So here is were it gets worse. Myself, my wife and daughters were getting ready to go to the pool and what should happen... Someone barges into our room. Thank God were were all clothed. It was a lady and her child, the front desk thought our occupied room was unoccupied. To their horror and ours it definitely was not unoccupied. The woman went to the front desk to get their matters situated while I calm down my children and my wife. I then head to the front desk to calmy and professionally explain my displeasure and to let them know they violated our trust... the guy at the front desk then stated he will get ahold of the Manager AND said this happened 4 times this week..We were offered a 50% off our stay for this. Which we agreed. We go to check out and were told its an expedia problem. Beware!!
