The rooms were spotless, staff were very obliging and Sunday Lunch and breakfast was excellent. Had the best nights sleep for a long time and the powerful shower woke you up in the morning. All in all a lovely relaxing break

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Cannon room is beautiful with a stunning bathroom which housed a large roll top bath and double shower. The his and hers sinks were well appointed and stylish. The mattress was too soft for our liking however this is a matter of opinion and others may like it. We had a delicious meal at the restaurant at the hotel and were impressed with the presentation and service. The staff were very professional, polite and helpful and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. The parking spaces made it stress free and the location perfect .We wish we had stayed longer!

Internet service worked OK. Our room was in a rear block on up a flight of stairs with no lift. There are "garden rooms" on the ground floor with french doors open to the garden with small patio areas. Request one of these to avoid stairs. Room had Nespresso coffee maker but no fridge for fresh milk, only those tacky plastic milk pods which was out of character with the stylish quality of the rest of the hotel. Restaurant quality of food is outstanding.

Although our room was small, the finishes were good and we had a very comfortable bed. Good quality bed linens, and a very attractive headboard and blind. The bathroom was newly fitted and certainly was well done. Even a shelf for toiletries - often missing! Decent sized towels too. Just a couple of things less then perfect - tv is too small and the window stay was broken. We did get a good rate though so no complaints! Staff are friendly and efficient- breakfast was very good. The breakfast room is also very attractive as are all the public rooms here. We parked at the rear of the hotel and in warmer months, the terrace would be lovely. We would definitely return - but just upgrade the tv please!

Exceptional hotel, we stayed in the St Peters room which was outstanding, could not find fault with the room which was beautifully appointed. Staff very helpful and courteous, although breakfast was a little chaotic but did not reflect on our stay at all. I would definite stay here again and recommend to anyone considering the Grosvenor

Hotel is lovely .Staff are excellent Room was v clean and bed super comfortable. Only complaint is that you do have any control over the heat in your room Our room was pretty chilly the whole time. We will definitely stay again, this was our first winter stay.
