Great hotel, spotlessly clean and great room facilities such as tea tray, ironing board and iron in room. Hairdryer and lovely Crabtree & Evelyn bath products. Slight minus points were tv stations very limited, we did not venture out at night. Saw two guests and their children come down stairs for breakfast in their pyjamas..not hygienic and should have been stopped when guests were waiting to be seated for breakfast. Other than that, really enjoyed the two nights there whilst visiting my son at uni which is just a few miles from this hotel so convenient for me. Would definitely return there.

Needs some care and attention.

Stayed here twice previously since 2021 and now not as good. Stained carpets. Stained towels. Grubby in places. Stained seats in restaurant. Generally short staffed in bar and restaurant with average food and service not good enough for the price charged. Needs Hilton to freshen things up and get the standards back.
