I love the quaintness of the Publick House. I’ve dined here but this was my first stay and we were very happy with everything. Definitely check out the bakery for pastries.

The rooms are clean and very well kept. The staff are very pleasant and professional. I was there for a two night stay for an on-site wedding. The only area of opportunity for me would be the room’s climate control. It was rainy & cold, even after adjusting the thermostat the room remain colder that the hallway temperature.

My wife and I enjoyed the complementary coffee and pastries provided in the bakery and the 24 hour variety coffee machine in the Chamberlain house. Everyone we encountered were pleasant and helpful. Our two rooms/facilities were wonderful-clean and well appointed. Please keep the same rates, people will always return.
