Do NOT book this hotel. This was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The mattresses are absolutely terrible — without question the worst we have ever slept on. Completely uncomfortable and unacceptable for any hotel, especially at this price point. When we asked about a solution — a mattress topper, flipping the mattress, or any kind of adjustment — we were met with defensive responses instead of help. There was no effort to resolve the issue. The manager/owner was supposedly traveling, and staff had no idea when we would receive a response. That left us stuck with no support and no accountability.

Do NOT book this hotel. This was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The mattresses are absolutely terrible — without question the worst we have ever slept on. When we asked about a solution — a mattress topper, flipping the mattress, or any kind of adjustment — we were met with defensive responses instead of help. There was no effort to resolve the issue. The manager/owner was supposedly traveling, and staff had no idea when we would receive a response. That left us stuck with no support and no accountability. The service felt disorganized and dismissive. If you value sleep and basic customer care, look elsewhere. Now the only positive: The restaurant inside the hotel is a completely different story. It is outstanding — easily one of the best restaurant experiences in Queens, New York. The food and service there were excellent. So here’s the bottom line: Do not book this hotel. But absolutely eat at the restaurant.

Check in was seamless and front desk clerk was quick, friendly and handed us our room keys within 2 minutes. Got to the room, it was literally spotless. Beds were comfortable and although the hotel looked booked solid, it was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was standard fare - cold goods - cereal, juices, fruit, etc., as well as bagels, muffins, eggs, sausage, etc. The ONLY reason this isn't a star review is that snow removal on the sidewalks could be way better, and there was a lack of hot water, in that it wasn't very hot in the shower. Would stay again however.

Upon arrival the lady at the front desk was not very friendly. The heater in my room was not responsive to the thermostat and the room kept getting hotter until I turned it off and then froze and then baked again. We were woke up by the front desk person banging on the door at 12:30 because pipes in the hotel had begun to burst flooding rooms and the entire ground floor. Fortunately our room was dry. Woke up to a cold room and turned the oven back on. No hot water for showers and when we got down stairs no breakfast due to the extensive damage. Same lady at desk was not willing to do anything thing to accommodate us for all the problems we had with our stay.

Booked online last minute after I decided to call it a night due to bad weather. When I checked in I was charged an extra $97 for my dogs ! I travel with them often and have never had to pay such a high rate. I was given a “special” pet friendly room that was absolutely disgusting. Shower walls were cracked and falling apart. Water did not get hot . The room itself was very dirty. I knew it was far from a 5 star however cleaning isn’t that difficult.

The bed was horribly uncomfortable. our room on the second floor had no hot water no matter how long we let it run for to heat up. Luke warm was the best we got. The lady who checked us in was very rude and short with us. The only good thing about the place is not having to go outside for the steakhouse.

The credit card keys worked one time and not again, the body wash dispenser in the shower was missing, I got two bars of soap at the desk, the water in the shower never got hot, the grab bar in the tub came off in my hand, the drain in the sink barely drained. Ice machine out of order, back exit filled with snow, one of the juice dispensers in the breakfast room out of order. Property has gone way downhill. Have stayed there many times before, this is the last time
