Welcome to your home where you are secluded in the woods. This home is minimalistic but has everything you need from pots and pans, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, different size knives for cooking, washer and dryer, and THREE beds.

This home is located in a .8 acre land, so you have a huge backyard with flowers, and a deck to enjoy your coffee in the morning to the morning breeze and some red wine at night to wind down.

You will be on the primary unit on the top floor of a duplex and there will be someone living beneath you.

Please reminder that there are NO parties allowed and NO loud music allowed.
Reminder that this unit is a DUPLEX with a separate entrance.

Loved the great communication especially since this reservation was made at the last minute. Kirsten was so compassionate to as to my family emergency. Home is wonderful for a family. Plenty of room. Great for pups too with lots of yard to walk around in and sidewalks around the neighborhood. Nice choice of channels and programs on the tv. Home was very clean except for a spot on the couch. Also, a real bonus that Kirsten does not require anything to be done upon vacating the home. I have never seen that before. Very convenient location to get to Tacoma or Seattle too. Would definitely stay again.

The host was great about communication and friendly. The home was clean and good for our purposes; we really just needed a place to sleep and were out of the home most of the time. We didn't bring pets, but you could tell it was pet friendly because of the smell. It had what we needed for the most part. There were exactly 2 spoons though, one large and one small. There was also inconsistent hot water, mostly just warm. Although, my husband would differ, his shower was cold even after an hour between people showering. Overall, a good stay, we would stay again if we were ever in the area and needed a rental.

Best host!

We had a great stay in Federal Way. The house was very comfortable and conveniently located near the pool. The host was amazing and went out of her way to make us comfortable, even brought us extra drinks and snacks midway through our stay. There were a few times the repair shop next doors was a little loud, but not too bad.

Humble Little Getaway

This place reminds me of my grandmas house. It’s an older build split level house just on the outskirts of main roads/stores. You stay on the top floor and someone is living in the same residence but their area is blocked off so there is complete privacy. A perfect place if you want to bring your furry friends. The host, Kristen, was extremely communicative, friendly, and prompt with responses. She had dog treats waiting for us when we arrived! Well worth it. We will be back.
