You are only steps away from biking and hiking trails, the wonderful Tahoe House Restaurant, and a short distance to world class ski areas and beaches!
This tastefully furnished three bedroom, two and half bath home has all you’ll need to enjoy a perfect holiday. The vaulted, knotty pine ceilings and large river rock fireplace appoint the warm and spacious great room making it the perfect place to gather with friends and family. The open kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, bar seating, and an adjacent and comfortable dining area. Accommodating up to 6 people, it is a great space for family meals or that holiday feast!
The upstairs primary bedroom has a TV, and boasts vaulted ceilings, large windows, two closets, and bathroom with two sinks. Downstairs you will find a cozy room with a double bed, and another room with two twin beds and a TV. This beautiful home has level access, and parking for up to 4 CARS (please park in designated area only) and is also equipped with a BBQ gas grill. Other amenities include washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, three televisions with satellite & wireless internet access.
Steeple Retreat is perfect for couples and for families and is only minutes away from Palisades/Alpine Ski Resort, Homewood Mountain Resort, and Northstar at Tahoe ski areas. Annual Family vacation
Family of 5 stayed for 7 days. Easy ride to Tahoe City, Truckee River or the lake. Plus quick access to hiking and bike on the Tahoe Rim trail right behind the house up to Paige Meadows

Very nice and clean. All the modern amenities with an open floor plan. One of the best we’ve ever stayed at.
Just a little bit of a hike to the resorts but worth it if you prefer a country comfy cabin

The house was lovely. The kitchen was super nice. My only complaint is the bed was very hard but that didn’t seem to bother my sleep. Thank you for your hospitality.

Multi stage California Tour
We enjoyed staying at Steeple Retreat as part of a multi-stage tour that started in San Francisco and went onto Yosemite and Sequoia via Lake Tahoe. Steeple Retreat was a perfect place to rest and relax after three busy days in San Francisco and a long drive. We enjoyed the local area and some scenic walks and Steeple Retreat was ideal. Julie at West Lake Properties was always helpful and provided any information we needed.

VRBO tahoe
The location was good. Living space in the property was very nice. Complaints pertain to the mattresses and furnishings of the bedrooms. Mattresses seemed very old, hard and squeaky and furnishings were pretty dated including bedding. Otherwise enjoyed our stay.
