Great location

The location is really great. The express buses downstairs can take you to Taichung Train Station in less than 10mn, to Calligraphy Greenway and Natural Science Museum in 10 mn, and to the new CBD in 20mn. Within walking distance, one can discover the pretty Liuchuan river, Chunghwa Road night market, the 2nd Market, the 5th Market, and the quaint Taichung Literature Park with lots of Japanes-style houses and a beautiful cafe. Simple buffet breakfast. Even though my room had no view this time, it was spacious, had everything a traveller needs, and the decor was fun.

Nice view from room

Convenient location on Taiwan Blvd (express bus station just downstairs) and along the lovely Liuchuan river. Nice city view from top-floor room with cute decor. Simple buffet breakfast served at 2nd floor cafe.

Good for a quick overnight stay. Room is very small, no real desk to for me to use my laptop. almost no space between the bed and the dresser to walk through to the bathroom.

Other than the creepy furniture and interior design and the tidiness of the room is not there,other is fine.the customer service is perfect,the lobby is comfy. The location is just beside the bus stop and a hospital if u don’t mind the design this might be the nice place for u

Non smoking hotel has niggling smoke smell in the room. Staff at reception were mostly unfriendly with the exception of one. The helpers at the breakfast buffet were very helpful to my aging dad.

Clean room but old facilities

The room I booked is a family room. The air-con seems cannot adjust the temperature, it's too cool for us. The facilities looking old. Yellowish stains could be found on pillow cover. It's time for them to change>.<...Overall, cleanliness is ok. Breakfast is nice. Bus station just in front of the hotel, it is convenient to take bus, the location is good. It is good that there is water re-filler inside the room so that you don't need to boil the water when you need hot water. It is just nice for those who need a clean place to stay if you don't mind some of the facilities are old.

there were strands of hair on the bed and the bathtub had dust coming out when we were washing it. Overall hygiene is non existent. But it is near bus stops and has good food around the hotel

What I like about this hotel is that - value for money - location quite central, there are plenty of buses just in front of the hotel to get you around (very convenient to get around Taichung) - friendly staffs - breakfast included - room is spacious and sound proof However, I don't think there is a room service as I didn't get mine.

Small clean room with a little bath drain problem

Rooms small, clean but staffs are very friendly, location OK. Breakfast mostly Chinese style which fits us great. A little complaint about drain system that seemed to spill water out to bathroom floor, not much though. At the price we paid I personally have no problem with however I don't think it is a 4-star hotel, 2.5-3 star but worth the money.

The hotel location on the Taichung BRT 仁愛醫院 station,it's easy to go anywhere by bus and free charge. You can take bus 302 from Taichung airport directly. Nice place.

Would recommend

It's a nice hotel in a good location in Taichung; I can't think of anything I disliked about it. I liked that there's a 7-Eleven around the corner, a cold/hot water dispenser inside the room, and a selection of pretty recent movies in the TV - perfect for a lazy night in. Some pretty good restaurants are just a couple minutes away, too, and the hotel's within a reasonable walking distance to the bus stops for the Sun Moon Lake and 921 Earthquake Museum-bound buses. Taking a cab to Fengjia Night Market from here cost us just TWD$215 (S$10). The breakfast buffet was not bad.
