Generally just ok, nothing noteworthy. Location is ok and friendly staff. Though some area to improve : 1 - assigned room had no window 2 - sound from busy street outside can go in, 3 - unfortunately during the 1st night the balcony light was not turn-off by the hotel and really unpleasant to have restful sleep after coming from whole day activity. But over-all you still get your moneys worth.

Clean modern hotel in downtown area.

We were a short walk from anything we needed, as well as all the temples and shrines we could manage in our time there. Having the hotel as a home bases as a great advantage.

No hooks, but still a great room

Room is big but there are no hooks at all (even in the bathroom)!! Adding hooks is a must for improvement There is a small window (special glasses used so can't see anything at all) in the room but locked for safety reason, suggest changing the glass materials (just plain glasses will be fine)

Clean hotel with a good location

The hotel staffs are friendly and very helpful in our queries of Tainan attractions. Hotel is strategically located, walking distance to Che Kan Lou and access to public transport.

Nice Comfortable Hotel - Value for Money

Hotel Brown is just a few minutes drive from Tainan railway station located on the main road with lots of eateries and convenience stores around. It is also located near many sightseeing places like Fort Provintia, Confucius temple, Hayashi Department Store etc. Hotel was recently renovated, very clean, and comfortable. The front desk staff were very helpful and accommodated our request for Vegetarian breakfast. Ms.Meggi was particularly very helpful as she could speak good English and guided us to plan sightseeing on a typhoon day. I would certainly recommend Hotel Brown to my friends.

We loved our stay at Hotel Brown

We stayed just two nights here but had a wonderful time at the hotel and in Tainan. It's about a 15 minute walk from the main Tainan train station, though in the hot sun you might want to grab a taxi. It's also around the corner from Fort Provintia, where you can also catch the tourist bus line (88 or 99) which runs to the Anping Historical District. Our room was comfortable and spotless, and the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful -- helping us to hire taxis, giving us restaurant tips, and letting us store our luggage after check out on our last day. Highly recommended!
