As soon as I entered the room, there was a bad odor (either musty or foot odor). The housekeeping staff kindly provided ozone deodorization and fragrance services, but they were ineffective. The hot water was not hot enough, which is especially unacceptable considering it was a Friday and the hotel was not fully booked.

Clean and spacious room. Quiet area. Breakfast is simple but perfectly fine. Not much around the immediate area. MRT station is about 7minutes walk. If price is right, I would stay again.

下午3點不能準時安排好房間入住，讓客人等在旁邊，沒有任何解決方案，只會反復一句“房間還沒好”，體驗很差，最後是要求經理來解決，才換了一間已經整理好的房間給我們。

We stayed 8 nights. Overall a good hotel. Staff very friendly and responsive. Only improvement we suggest is for housekeeping to vacuum the floor every day. Walking distance to three MRT stations and close to 永康街 shopping area. Also close to the Taipei Main Station, only two stops away. Breakfast has healthy options.

Loved this hotel!

We had a wonderful stay at The Sonnien Hotel! The room was large enough for the 4 of us with a bath and separate shower. There were complimentary waters restocked daily and a copious breakfast buffet included as well. The location was great and the staff was excellent!

I had a pleasant stay at Sonnien Hotel overall. The location is convenient, and the reception area is well-appointed, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. My room was clean and well-maintained, though the bed was quite firm, which was a bit uncomfortable for my back—this might simply come down to personal preference. One aspect that could be improved is housekeeping consistency. On the first day, Amy did an outstanding job cleaning my room, but the following day, a different housekeeper provided less thorough service, and the toilet was left uncleaned. Despite these minor concerns, I enjoyed my stay and would consider returning in the future.
