We had such a wonderful time here! Our family all felt it was very nice. Not too far from town but far enough that you felt able to enjoy the wild. The host was amazing and so helpful for our stay. 10/10, will be staying here if we are ever back in the area! We saw a moose and her twins just down the road!

The BEST view

We really liked our stay here, not least, because the mountain was out at around 6.30am when we woke up and wow, what a view to wake up to!TLDR: would stay again.To be aware of: 1) if you're not comfortable on gravel roads, it might be a touch hairy. We are, and had a 4WD rental, so it was a fun ride up the hill. 2) Only 1 of the 3 bedrooms with the mountain view (upstairs queen). But this means the communal space has the view too, so everyone can appreciate it. 3) Bathroom is downstairs. 4) Mosquitos, of course, are everywhere. We thought it wonderful that they included one of those electronic 'tennis raquets' to zap any that got inside.5) If you like long showers, this is not the place for you. The nature of the location means that you need to be conservative with water. There's enough, so long as you're not going crazy.6) If you're there in the summer, take a good eye mask with you.Bottom line: would stay again, and keep everything crossed for the glorious view once more.

Incredible views of the Mount McKinley mountain range

Popped in late for a quick overnight stay and we’re not at all disappointed. The views are spectacular and the accommodations are acceptable. I would recommend this property as more than satisfactory, especially for the price you pay.

Stunning view

We came there to rest between Seward and Denali and it was absolutely wonderful. Even tho there are tons of mosquitoes outside you also have a big window in the main bedroom to enjoy the view. Wendy was very accommodating, great host

Cozy cabin with a view

This cabin is tucked away in a scenic spot yet minutes from town. Unfortunately it was raining during our stay but we could still tell that they view off the back deck and the main bedroom were amazin! The cabin is pretty basic, don't expect anything modern but it was clean and has a fridge and small kitchen area and TV. Heater kept us cozy. Plenty of room for a family although the bathroom is small. Be careful on the back deck railing, it felt a little wobbly. Overall a great place to stay with the best views.

Great view of valley

Clean cabin with a great view of the valley. Pre-visit communication with the host was excellent. Host provides booklet in the cabin with helpful information, directions, and services available in the area. Cabin was well-kept. There’s no kitchen, just a small sink, small fridge, a tabletop propane grill and a hot plate. It’s exactly what we needed and we were thrilled with the views of the valley from the deck and bedroom.

Cute cabin with a great view!

We loved this place with a view of Denali, which took a day for the weather and clouds to cooperate so we could see the whole range, but it was worth it! Lots of bedroom space, great deck to hang out on, and we didn’t encounter any bugs at all even though we were prepared. Mirrors in the bedroom would have been good so more than one person could get ready at a time. Would definitely stay again!

Such beautiful views!

This property did not disappoint! This charming cabin was in a perfect location back from the road. It was quiet and had the most beautiful view from the deck and the large picture window in the upstairs bedroom. Perfect for two to three people comfortably. We loved it so much and will be back soon!

Whitney is an incredible host, she made us feel comfortable and the cottage has incredible views of denali. We were a family of 4 and had a great time in the cottage. Definitely recommended if you want to visit talkateena and nearby areas!

Breathtaking Views

Loved this rental! The views were amazing, the beds were comfy and it had what you needed for a pleasant stay. There is only a kitchenette so cooking large meals isn’t possible but Talkeetna is less than 10 minutes away with plenty of dining options. Definitely don’t pass this one up if you want something in the Denali area.
