You really have to try this place. It's pretty far down the road; just keep going and you'll get there. The tents are very sturdy, thick canvas over a wooden frame; the beds are pretty comfortable and the stove inside the tent keeps you nice and cozy. There are two very friendly bear dogs on the premises to keep you safe from wildlife.
AND saving the best for last, they advertise "Denali views" and they ain't lyin'. The day before, I took a flight to see Denali but like many others was denied the sight by clouds all around the summit. But the next morning I open my tent flap and there she is, in all her glory, no clouds, just Denali against a clear blue sky. The owner Julie is helpful and friendly and her husband brought me a cup of coffee as we enjoyed the view. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!
