Anna Sunset House ja löytää aarteita yhden Tamarindon todellista ylellisyyttä vuokra helmiä. Tunnetun San Diego-Kalifornian arkkitehdin Steve Adamsin suunnittelema, Flor del Pacificon / Jeff Huttonin rakentama arkkitehti, joka on alueen suosituin kotitalousrakentaja, on sisustettu Mu Designin mukaan. lähestyä.

Loved our stay at Sunset House.

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary with family at Sunset House. We wanted to stay in Tamarindo and Sunset House stood out because it was within walking distance to town/the beach and the pictures of the house/views were incredible. Karina, your primary contact, responded quickly to any and all questions. She was there to greet us, which I think she does because she loves seeing people’s faces when they walk through the front door for the first time and see that SPECTACULAR view. The pictures are great but can’t compare to actually standing there and seeing it all in person. After giving us a tour of house, she explained that Geovanna, our housekeeper/cook would be there in the morning along with Gama who would be doing outdoor and pool maintenance. Celia (security person) was around in the evening to make sure all was well. It was nice knowing she was there but we NEVER felt unsafe at the house, in town or on the beach. The house, and the staff were incredible. Geovanna was there every day by 7:00 am and made wonderful breakfasts, did our laundry and kept the inside of the house straightened up. We did rent two golf carts which was a great way to get into and around town and for the quick trips down the hill to the beach. Probably the most spectacular aspect of the house, comes from its name, Sunset House. The SUNSETS are AMAZING. Make sure you are back on the patio at the end of the day to take it all in. I could go on and on. Just go, you won’t be disappointed.

Great property and perfect location if you want to surf. The house is set up perfectly and beautifully maintained. The staff could not have been better great food !!! Safe for a 2 year old pool removed from common space.

Ocean view of greatness

The pictures of this place do not do it justice. When you walk in the door and turn and see the ocean view it will take your breath away. We had 4 couples and we all will be back. The staff was amazing and they were always available at any moment we had a question. Joanna was an amazing cook for us at breakfast and took great care of our laundry every day. The facilities are top notch and and the suggested chefs were out of this world. Karina is a excellent host and can’t say enough about how wonderful she was.

Spring Break!

The house is beautiful! And never before has a house been named so appropriately…The Sunset House is in the perfect location to see every minute of the lovely Costa Rican Sunsets…something we made a point of being on that spacious, gorgeous patio for every evening. Karina & Katherine were available for every call or question I had and quickly took care of what I needed. It is our 2nd time using one of the properties they manage and it won’t be the last. I highly recommend The Sunset House…it’s perfect for indoor/outdoor living, an easy walk into town or to the beach and you can’t beat that sunset view!

Amazing house! Highly recommended!

This was our first trip to Costa Rica and the sunset house provided everything we needed. . Great location, only 5 minutes drive to the beach, supermarket and restaurants in our golf carts. The bedrooms were spacious and each with its own bathroom. The common areas were large enough to hold our group of 14 without feeling crowded. Great views from the pool and dining area, watching the sunset from the terrace was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. I would probably add an espresso machine and beware of the driveway, is very steep even for the golf carts. it was a challenge to keep one of the rooms cool,, one of the kids rooms (bunk beds), since the kids would leave the door open many times during the day and the AC unit would automatically shut off. Maybe consider changing the settings. I don’t know how to solve the problem and save energy, but it was very difficult to cool it back down after being off for several hours. Thank you to Karina, our host, always responsive and a great communicator. Special thanks to Joanna, Andrea and Mario for such a great job taking care of breakfast, cleaning and laundry every day (all included in the price). They made our stay even more relaxing and special. We would certainly stay here again.

We Were Wowed!

This house is fabulous. And the staff associated with it is as good as they come. Tamarindo is a fantastic place to visit. It's a global attraction so all the people you meet and see are from everywhere in the world. Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Germany, England, Australia and more. U.S. Gringos are there of course, but in the minority. We liked that. Sunset House has a commanding view. Like no place we have ever rented before. The open concept worked perfectly allowing both participation and privacy as needed. The only drawback to the locale is that if you're walking, the climb up to the house takes a pretty hearty effort. We were interested in the vaunted state of the art misting system which the listing said would discourage mosquitoes. But it never operated and we only got vague answers about why this was the case. But those are the only nits I could possibly pick. We had a wonderful, memorable, perfect week there with our three adult children and their spouses/significant others. We were there for the week after Christmas. And there were high energy concerts and happy, dancing crowds on the beach almost the whole time. We loved the energy and people watching. In that regard, the location of the house makes it the perfect get-away. Close enough to join the fun and far enough to literally rise above it all. Karina Flecha from the leasing agent was very helpful at getting us squared away before we got there. Grocery shopping, dinner reservations, arranging for a golf cart, referrals to local resources. The caretaker made himself available at all times too. We had all sorts of (mostly dumb) questions as we learned the ropes and Francisco was always ready to respond. And the lady named Leidy who made an abundant breakfast every morning, cleaned the house, made the beds and did our laundry every day is a jewel. Smiley, helpful and seemingly tireless. She made a tremendously positive difference all by herself. For airport transportation, and activities like fishing, zip-lining, etc, Karina and team steered us to Xplore Costa Rica, a local booking agent. My impression is that Xplore's prices are above average. Sometimes well above. So you may not want to rely on Xplore any more than necessary. That's not a knock on this VRBO. I'm just encouraging future guests to shop around a little. All in all, this house and this town are both one in a million. We loved our time there and can't recommend it more highly. .

Wonderful

The house is beautiful and the pictures don't do it justice. Lady made us a beautiful breakfast every day and did our laundry. Such a treat! Francisco took great care of us and was available at a moments notice to answer any questions. It's really close to town but up a steep hill. We rented a golf cart which was fun. There are many yummy places to eat in town but the view of the sunset is so wonderful we preferred to stay home in the evenings. Loved every minute of our vacation

This is a unique and special place, designed and furnished with much thought. Even in summer, the open air common area concept was incredible. Amazing views, comfortable beds and fabulous staff.

Incredible experience

We had a wonderful time at Sunset House-it is gorgeous, spacious, comfortable, clean, set up above overlooking Tamarindo only a 5 minute walk to the beach. It is private secluded , peaceful and you can see wildlife including monkeys from the open area leading down tomthe bautiful pool. You will have all required amenities on hand. And the staff!! They are spectacular and so kind and friendly and accommodating, from the management (Francisco and Karina), Hugo the chef and the Leydy the housekeeper, all went beyond the call to make our experience an awesome adventure. They were so lovely, it made the stay that much more memorable. There really aren't any negatives. They have an incredible water treatment system that provides either still or sparkling water...the group loved it and never drank so much water! They also have a mosquito repellent system-we had no issues during our stay. The house is close to shops and an easy walk to downtown Calle Central Tamarindo ..highly recommended. The only thing I would suggest to all guests is to keep your bedroom door keys with you in your rooms at night and lock the doors..just for security and piece of mind, as it is an open concept villa..pero que villa!!❤️❤️ Hugito, Francisco, Karina y Leydy: gracias por todo y ojalas nos veremos si Dios quiere. We had a group stay at Sunset House and Casa Alang Alang for a wedding in Tamarindo in July of 2018. The facilities are so unique and modern. Sunset house was spotless upon arrival. The service was also impeccable! Lady prepared coffee and fresh fruit every morning, she did laundry for us daily. She truly went above and beyond! We needed a steamer for the wedding day and she went out and found one for us and steamed our attire. We asked for yoga mats and they were provided quickly. We had an incredible stay and we can't recommend this villa enough!
