While the property is unique, the bedding in the rooms is second class. Cheapest pillows, mattress and linens. Spend a few bucks and give guests a room stay that matches the overall ambiance.

I’m staying in a room with two single beds on the second floor of the main building. The room is old, small, and worn out. The floor creaks loudly with every step, and the lobby downstairs gets very noisy at night, making it hard to sleep. The location is convenient since it’s in the city center, but I wouldn’t choose this hotel again.

Cocktails, Charm & Doc Martin’s

I had a very pleasant stay at the Taos Inn. It’s close to everything and carries the old charm you just don’t find in cookie-cutter rooms. The character of the inn is a true plus. A meal at Doc Martin’s is a must, and don’t miss a late patio visit with a cocktail while people-watching the patrons of Taos. The Taos Inn is now a must-stay on my return trips.

Mini Vacation

The Taos Inn is a fabulous old place near the plaza, so it's easy to walk to restaurants, shops, and museums. The staff is friendly, and the rooms are charming and comfortable. It's our favorite hotel in Taos.
