Peace and Tranquilty Close to Town

This beautiful eco-friendly home, just a few minutes drive from Acacia Bay and Whakaipo Bay (both great places to swim), and on a private one acre section, yet only 10 minutes drive to town, is a wonderful place to unwind or to catch up with friends and family. Free WIFI, Sky Sport, and Chromecast.

There are four double bedrooms, one with an ensuite, and a portacot or rollaway bed are available on request.

The living room doors open wide to allow wonderful indoor/outdoor flow onto either of two lovely outdoor entertainment areas, while double-glazing and a fabulous log fire (or heat pumps if you prefer) ensure that the house is cosy in winter. There are no stairs or steps to negotiate, great for children or older folks, and the section is fully fenced.

While here you will enjoy not only our quiet little paradise, but also our aviary with budgies and cockatiels.

In the lounge you will find board games for those wet weekends.

Bring along the children's bikes or scooters as the driveway is great for riding on. There is plenty of off-road parking for several vehicles on the property.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need, including an automatic espresso machine (with beans provided) and tea available (you will need to pick up milk on the way ). A high chair is available for your child if required.

The price quoted includes bed linen and towels, we don't add an extra charge for this.

We have recently installed a security camera on the end of the shed. This is for security purposes only, no recordings or data from visits is retained.

Special conditions:
Strictly no smoking inside the house. Please respect our home by leaving it tidy. Families preferred. A few quiet drinks are fine, but if you are wanting a house to party in, then sorry but this is not the house for you. We would appreciate our guests cleaning up after themselves.

Beautiful spacious and clean

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home it is absolutely lovely. We loved the lay out meaning we could chat late into the night without disturbing the early to bed members of our group. We did feel at first that it was a long way from town but after 3 trips it seemed closer, but definitely not walking distance. Loved the cafe just up road and purcgased some art. Would definitely book again.

Beautiful House

Overall, we enjoyed our weekend stay in this beautiful house. It was lovely staying in a big house like this. Warm and cosy living room with fireplace. Big outdoor, kids played tag under the sunny Sunday morning. It would be nice if we could stay for another day and have a barbi on a Sunny Sunday and celebrate Father’s Day.

Great place to stay

We had a lovely stay. Everything was exceptional. Just couple of hiccups - the property manager did not respond to texts or messages at all during our stay. The microwave stopped working on the second morning and was a huge inconvenience, specially for heating leftovers. We tried to communicate with the property manager but no luck. Other issue was that the hot water ran out on the second morning, after just 3 quick showers. Not sure why. Apart from that, Would highly recommend this lovely home!

Peaceful & Serene - Absolutely Stunning

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Our group was a size of 8, 5 adults and 3 kids and we had enough space for everyone to congregate and play board games and eat meals together but then quiet space when we needed it. The photos do not do this properly justice, you are only a couple of minutes to the shops or Acacia Bay but you feel completely in the country. The gardens are size of the gardens are beautifully landscaped and enjoyed our daily walks through them and around the neighbourhood. The house is well designed, clean and amazing! Would recommend any family or group of friends booking here.

We were 7 friends staying in New Zealand for the first time. Peace and tranquility is the perfect name. The only thing was that it said 3 baths,and it was actually 2, but we still had the best time. I would stay their again.

Beautiful House

When we drove up the drive we could tell we were staying in a stunning house. The pictures do not do it justice. It is amazing. The house has everything you need and the gardens are beautiful. Beds are very comfortable and lovely linen. Three couples so plenty of areas to sit and relax. We loved our stay and hope to return one day. Thank you.
