Room was clean, very small, no closet or dresser. It had air conditioning, no service to room during stay, not even to take out trash. TV offered no local stations, but a variety of channels that had old shows. Mix up from Hotels. INC Stating you could check out at 7am, they offered check out at 8am. They should have told us to use the drop box. It stated for late arrivals. Very frustrating.

We stayed there for 3 nights. At no time was our room serviced by housekeeping. When I asked after the second night about the lack of service, I was told they did not servic the rooms every day. A second issue was the in-house WiFi did not reach our room (#12). Final issue, the satellite tv only worked for 15 minutes during our stay. It appears that the facility is operated by Aramark. They could definitely do a better job.

Loved this property in Terlingua. Friendly accommodating staff , Clean rooms, great air conditioning . Convenience store next door, restaurants close by.

First of all. Check in took forever!! I had arrived early and paid at that time. When I came in the evening for the key, I was accused of not paying. Second, I thought I was sleeping on the floor. The mattress was hard as a rock. The water pressure to shower was ridiculous! No pressure at all!! The price for the room is ridiculously high. I would never recommend this place or stay there again. Avoid it.

Great place to stay

Located right on the split to big bend national park and to Terlingua center with the starlight theatre, the location was phenomenal and the rooms were clean and well cared for. The bathrooms were a little dated in our room but still got the job done no problem. Linens were clean, beds pretty comfortable too. The staff were friendly and approachable during check in. All in all we would definitely stay here again .

Staff was very awesome and friendly!! We were on the road and a couple hours away from arriving. They called and let me know that they were closing soon at 9pm, but would leave our keys in the late arrivals box. Which was really cool of them!! Hotel is very close to the park entrance and for the price can’t Beat it! Very quiet and close to restaurants and other establishments. Only con is that it could be a little cleaner/more attention to detail but nothing major. But other than that everything was great and would recommend and def stay here again!!

Best Stay!

Not sure why the rating isn’t higher? We just got back home today from being out here for a few days. The location of this place sold me! I gave it a shot. The room was clean, the water pressure was Perfect. But the bed was hard manageable but I’m picky I like soft beds so I’m not hating. But the rules they have make this place quiet and I love that. No bugs in the room. The front desk is super nice like holy cow!! The whole town is nice! I would stay here again and again. We stayed in the pink room idk what it’s called I already forgot but you can see the Santa Elena canyon from the door and when you open your window! I added some photos that were taken from the parking lot next to our hotel room.

When it rains, it pours

I stayed for 1 night on August 30 and it just so happened that a big storm came thru at night. We immediately lost power and since they have no generators, we had no power until the following morning. The room also got flooded during the night of the storm. They didnt have a number to call and the one they had listed was for the front desk and they leave at 8pm. Horrible horrible experience. And the front desk staff were so nonchalant about the experience the following morning. Like oh well. I would avoid in the future.
