The front entrance door was broken had to be pulled open and I got caught in the door trying to close. The rugs and carpet were so dirty. The shower curtain was dirty and mold around the tub.

The lady who checked us in was foreign and had very broken English. She was so hard to understand. Don’t be fooled breakfast is not free and they give a coupon. The toilet constantly ran water and kept me up most of the night.

The room was just that — a room with a bed and tv. The door had a gap at the bottom, didn’t seal tightly at the lock, and you could hear anything that happened in the hallway. There was also a strange smell that went away after about an hour because you forgot about it.

I am owner of a business, we are here working a job. Two staff members were nice but one girl at the desk treated me ugly, she was very rude. I walked on the floor in my room and my feet were covered in trash, it was disgusting! I brought my own towel from home and they took it and refused to look for it. The room was not the cheapest in the area and it was very unclean. Will not be staying here again.

Subject: Disappointing Stay – Lack of Hot Water and Poor Service During my recent stay at Baymont by Wyndham Texarkana, I went a full day without hot water. I spoke with three different staff members multiple times and was given the runaround. When I finally reached the manager, the issue was not taken seriously. I was even told maintenance would check if I knew how to turn the shower handle to “hot,” which I found insulting. As someone who travels to Texarkana at least twice a month for work, I expected better service and professionalism. I was eventually moved to another room only because I had paid for two nights—but no discount or consideration was offered for the inconvenience. This experience was disappointing and far below the standard I expect from Wyndham properties. Unless service improves, I do not plan to stay at this location again.
