Great service.

Service is fantastic. Beautiful views from restaurant at breakfast and wonderful service. Large selection for breakfast. Bedroom was large, but without views. Bedroom and style is dated but clean. Pillows were hard and thick. Walls were paper thin so you are at the mercy of whomever stays next to you. A party entered the room next to us at night and sounded like they were in our room. We don't have children and didn't use the pool, but this looks like it would be a fun place for children. They have a beautiful pool with ocean views and a large playground with ship like obstacle course for children.

Much Improvement Needed

At best, this is a 3 star hotel. The pictures give the impression of being an out of site hotel, which is why we selected it. Problems: 1. The “free breakfast" was only for 2 people; we were a party of four with two children. At check-in the receptionist tried to stiff us by saying that the coupons we received the day we made the reservation had expired so we could not get breakfast. Pay attention: I made the reservation on a Tuesday, a week before our stay. The free breakfast coupons were for that same day I made the reservation (Tuesday), NOT FOR THE DAYS OF OUR STAY. I wrote the hotel about the coupons, but they ignored my email; and when I asked about it, reception acted as if they never received anything. We were stuck with paying for an additional breakfast for our 4 year-old son. 2. The room was very cold, no heater during winter months. The bathroom shower was ridiculously low in its water pressure. Needs repair. The faucet had higher pressure than the shower. The toilet lacked pressure as well; waste flushed fully on two to three tries all of the time. Needs repair. 3. The hotel hosted loud music every night until 11:00 PM; annoying because it was hard to sleep with music in the background and it was hard to listen to the television with the loud music in the background. 4. Swimming pool is not heated; the water temperature of the pool was in the 60s Fahrenheit, way too cold for children and adults to swim in it during winter months. 5. The mini-zoo was a plus.
