The staff was as lovely as ever! It was wonderful to see the morning crew again even after all these years. But the state of the hotel has declined over time. What was once a well maintained building has now deteriorated into a scary experience. My children chose the stairs over what they called “the elevator of doom.” And we were on the third floor!

We chose this County Inn because it was away from town BUT we didn't realize how close it was to the highway and away from places to eat. We reserved an accessible room and was surprised it was on the third floor. Every other Country Inn we have stayed at they are on the first floor. Prefer the first floor BUT this inn had a pool and there were alot of people using it so the first floor was a tad noisey. We did LOVE how HUGE our room was. The mini fridge was in what looked like a cabinet and that was a nice touch. We did have to drive maybe 10 miles or so in to town to find a place to eat ahhh but what a charming town Perrysburg is! Have ti say that the noise on the highway was annoying. Breakfast was good.

It’s a nice place. It was upsetting to learn that you can’t invite other guest to enjoy the pool, although, the front desk lady explained why they were unable to allow outside guest. In which, I understood why and appreciated the input. While in the pool, many guests complained about the cleanliness of the pool and spa. And how the pool was extremely cold for some to enjoy. The breakfast bar was a little sad. I had to give a down payment of $200 after already paying $91 to reserve the room. They stated I would get the $200 back within 5-7 business days. I could have went to the Quality Inn and paid less no down payment. Invite guest to swim with me and can make my own waffles in the morning. I know where I’m going for leisure time. Sorry to be honest. Because the front desk lady and other staff members were nice to my grandson and I. I truly appreciate that. The staff deserves a raise!

Money spent better elsewhere

Initial impressions were good but once we got to our room we noticed an odor as if the room was actually previously a smoking room. On top of this - the shower / tub had strange stains and the rod fixtures were coming off the wall. Walls and floors paper thin it was tough to sleep.

The hotel is under new ownership and imo not ready to he operating. Needs lots of work! A/C unit was noisy, tub didnt drain, refrigerator wasnt cold at all, phone didnt work- had to change rooms. Brown splatter on the wall by the bed and the room felt wet the whole time- like really moist air. It was weird and uncomfortable. Basic cable, elevator seemed unsafe and a worker gave us a heads up that it will bang hard when it reaches ground level and to be aware. It was not worth over $300 for the weekend.

My first room’s ac was noisy and the room smelled terrible. I asked to be moved and while the ac was quieter, the room smelled like disgusting cigarettes. I gave up because the staff acted like they couldn’t stand being there.

Great stay!

Could of been better

It was clean but inside my room the floor was like wet almost like damp. And when laying down there was ants on the walls. If you like soft comfortable beds than this was the opposite. Bed felt like I was laying on a box spring. Also no curtains so street light and people walking by the windows all night. Also asked for a wake up call and never recieved it. Luckily with the lack of sleep i got up in time. Went up to the front desk to see if they were busy since i didnt get a wake up call.... nope lady watching a movie on her phone and eating her snacks. Just really disappointed in my stay. Also took 17 mins for just warm water to come out of the shower head for a shower.
