This place was horrible. I’ve never seen any like it. Dirty, not all our rooms had TVs, waited for hours to check in, no breakfast, the list goes on. There was loud music and the weed smell was so thick, we reported it but she said there was nothing she could do. We searched all over Topeka for rooms at a different hotel and couldn’t find any, it was graduation weekend. We were there with family for our daughter’s graduation or we would not have stayed. I have never written a negative review because no place is perfect and things happened, but this was a whole other level of horrible. Sleep in your car if you have to!

There were stains on the bed and pillow cases. The smoke detector had a bag on it. There was trash on the floor. The control box for the tv was on the floor and the only way to change the channel was to point the remote to the floor and on the side of the dresser that the tv was on.

It smelled like weed in the lobby. Our room wasn’t ready at 7pm when we arrived for check in. Loose dogs in lobby. Initially gaslit by the owner then acknowledged “mistakes” while telling me I should’ve been patient. Never got that refund. Horrible customer service.

Room not prepared. Room unclean with blood stains on shower curtain. Electrical outlet without power. Television without service. Wait at check in for “cleaning “ for an hour and still found the room to be very poor. Did not see the blood stains till the morning after check in, or we would have left immediately! We did not feel safe to shower and honestly should be offered a refund

I just have to say we’re coming back from a winter trip in Arizona. And we’ve stayed at Ramada and Windham because they’re cheap, but this one’s got mold in every corner dirt in every corner it’s disgusting. The windows haven’t been washed. I don’t know what kind of storm Topeka Kansas went through and I don’t know who the people are, but it is disgusting. I spent all night cleaning the windows washing the floor wiping everything down just so I could have one hour of a pleasant stay while I slept. And it’s not the management’s fault It’s the corporation, Wyndham you should be ashamed

The staff were friendly and accommodating and the room rate was attractive, but as it turned out, we got what we paid for. The facilities were dated and in poor condition, ie. : patched flooring, missing towel bar and tissue dispenser in bathroom, and no housekeeping whatsoever in our room. We had to ask for fresh towels daily and though they appeared to be clean , the towels were stained and discolored. One last thought; though we didn't make the decision to stay at the Days Inn based on the advertised continental breakfast, it was lacking any substance to be comparable to any other hotel we have ever stayed at that offered a continental breakfast.

Half way excellent half was terrible.

The night shift lady with the dogs was INCREDIBLE! So kind and helpful. Very guest friendly. The morning shift lady was horrendous! Came down to get breakfast for my kids and she was beyond rude to me and my daughter. Didn’t even acknowledge we were standing there and got upset I asked for a couple more bags for my other kids (1per kid). She acted as tho I was interrupting her show. I will never consider this hotel again because of her. But 10/10 recommend the night shift lady.

I had a reservation for several weeks and even completed early check in. When I arrived, my room had been given away and the man at the desk was rude, unfriendly and not helpful at all. We had to visit 3 other hotels at 12:30 am to find another room that cost us $160.00 more than my room at Days Inn. I am still waiting for my refund from the hotel that I was told would be processed in a few days. It has now been 9 days since I was told that I would receive a refund. I would never recommend this Days Inn to anyone, and we will not be staying there or making a reservation at the Topeka Days inn ever again!!!!!

Absolutely disgusting. No smoke detector in our room, garbage in the trash, room was absolutely repulsive after waiting over an hour to check in. Pool was murky and there is no spa even though it’s advertised there is one

Not at all impressed.

I had requested a handicapped accessible room. What I got was a regular room with no bars in bathroom or in shower. The room was the furthest away from the main desk. The phone in the room didn't work. I walked to desk, told them about the phone, and asked for an extra blanket. No one came for either item.
