The main host was very friendly and helpful. The property was falling apart and in need of major renovations. The pool is salt water and the area was dirty and not kept up. Windows on the property were calcified up and couldn't see out of some of them. Tiles were falling off the walls. Corner trims were falling off. Rooms were not cleaned on a daily basis, they only came in and took used towels. Nothing was mentioned in the online of any renovations needed or condition of the hotel, it was a complete surprise when we pulled up to the hotel. Even the outside looks run down and in bad shape. Basically, pictures on their website are deceiving.

The air conditioner worked fine. There was a smell on the second floor when we checked in. The room was clean but not clean if that makes sense. The carpet and bed were fine. The bathroom floor was kind of sticky. The curtains were dirty. Just a lot of things that need to be tended to-rust spots on the trim, a spot on the tub that looked like a spider but wasn't (paint it!), the shower was terrible (only one type of spray worked, it wouldn't get warm and then was far too hot). I will say it was very quiet. The outside looked very poor-construction going on and some construction mess there. It had good reviews so I was surprised at the condition.

Room was clean and comfortable. People behind the counter were friendly and helpful. Water pressure was low. Curtains were dirty and had holes in them. When you came into the motel, the first thing you see behind the counter is an open door with a washing machine staring you in the face and junk surrounding it. It was open the entire time were there.

Pink mold on the bathtub caulk. Black mold in the ice machine tray. My glass straw went down through the grate, and my nails came out with black moldy gunk. Cigarette butts and weeds around the flower beds. Dirty windows in the foyer.

At times there was no one at the check in desk. The television did not work, so the hotel put us in a different room. The glass plate in the microwave was too big and had to leave it out when using. The restraints to keep items from falling off the shelves in the door of the refrigerator were absent. None were major problems, but enough to keep the rating at 4 overall rather than 5.

Clean room with good A/C

Clean. A/c worked really well. Beds were pretty decent comfort. You can definitely tell it's not brand new, some cosmetic updates would be good, but it really was a nice stay over all. It was very quiet. The front desk & lobby attendant always very kind & polite. We returned to our room a little before midnight on a Saturday & the parking lot seemed well lit.
