Great balconyview of Utah rocks. The pool was well kept and I like the small gym that was accessible 24/7. I didn’t have hand soap in my room and the gym did not have disinfectant for equipment, just towels.

So this was a decent “motor hotel” that is well placed close to the park. Go into it expecting this, and it will meet your expectations. The view from the rooms is great - so we did spend a little time in the evening sitting on the balcony looking toward the cliffs. We also walked down and saw the llamas. For a “motor hotel” it was pricey - but I guess your options are limited around Capitol Reef, and they are pricing for that market.

Our room is spacious and the staff at the desk friendly and helpful. Our room had no soap and they said the order hasn’t arrived. No clean towels at pool. Water in pool very cold. Needed to use laundry facility but 3 dryers were out of order making for a long wait. Front desk staff helped us find another place to do it. A restaurant is on premises but we found a nice little barbecue/pizza place across the street that was cheaper and simpler. A great place to stay after a day at Capitol Reef National park.
