Staying in a chateau is so special. Each room is unique. We had a great view of the lake. The owners are so very nice, friendly and helpful. There are so many amenities: pool, row boats, trampoline, billards, etc. There is even a kitchen available to guests. The breakfast is great. Nice location.
This Chateau is absolutely amazing. It was so beautiful and historic, and the lake and grounds were wonderful too. The Chateau is close to Angles Sur L’Anglin, one of the cutest villages in all of France. This was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay, the service and breakfast was amazing, and it just had a wonderful atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and would stay again 10:10!
Set in wonderful surroundings, this is a lovely Château. We have a family suite consisting of 2 bedrooms and bathrooms so everyone gets a good night’s sleep. Slept very well in the huge bed. The owners were very helpful (case, helping with restaurant suggestions), thank you!
Had a great time. We arrived on a hot day and enjoyed a swim in the lovely pool. Had a great sleep in a comfortable bed and enjoyed a lovely French style breakfast. Nice staff and great hotel.
We stayed almost a week in order to visit family that live in the vicinity.
The chateau is absolutely in keeping with the local area and the gardens typical of the surrounding countryside..you could almost be in the Brenne itself.
We never used the extra facilities, didn't see the games room and despite taking a cozzie never had the time to use the pool.
Our hosts were very charming and warmly welcoming and although communication was difficult at times, that is, afterall, part of the fun of staying in rural France.
