Thunderhead Ridge Cabin Rentals offers a new way to explore the Smoky Mountain Region. We feature this pet-friendly, two-bedroom, one bath, spacious cabin which includes a newly renovated kitchen, hot tub, sauna, propane grill, private pet-yard, and a wood burning fireplace.

`Gray Wolf` is nestled in the woods overlooking the valleys in and around Townsend Tennessee. It offers a newly renovated kitchen with a high-end backsplash, freshly painted cabinets, and brand-new quarts countertops. Gray Wolf also offers a private pet yard, an outdoor hot tub, and an indoor sauna. It`s also handicap friendly with a ramp entrance and no steps to enter the cabin. (The bathroom is not ADA.)

The 2BR/1Bath cabin is perfect for 4 guests with a comfortable queen bed in each bedroom. No problem if you have a couple of extra kids or friends--there`s also room for two more guests on the queen sofa bed in the den. It has a portable pack-and-play. Tv`s are smart tv`s only and you must login to whatever app you would like to use.

Grill some burgers on the outdoor propane grill or enjoy a fire in the real-wood fireplace. We provide propane for the grill all year and a starter bundle of firewood for the fireplace from mid-October through mid-March. Many local stores sell bundled firewood should you need more.

The kitchen is complete with full size fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, stove and kitchen basics such as dishes, glasses, and silverware. We provide coffee, sugar, powdered creamer, and a variety of basic cooking spices for your convenience.

The cabin is part of Thunderhead Ridge, a 25-acre getaway with beautiful views, and plenty of tranquility. You can cast in a line or float tube down the Little River, just a quick 2-minute drive from the cabin. Trout fishing is popular up-stream inside the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. In summertime, we offer access to a luxury community pool about 5-10 min away. You can even book a round of golf at Laurel Valley Golf Course. Also, no need to worry about unwanted disturbances and traffic – Thunderhead Ridge Cabins is a secluded and gated property.

The cabin, deck, hot tub, sauna, and grill are available exclusively for your use during your stay.

We often have team members present between 10 am and 4 pm. If you have non-emergency needs, we will make arrangements for you during regular hours. You can always message via Airbnb as needed.

Located in a wooded area. The cabin is located about a quarter mile up a paved road. The roads nearby are paved but can be narrow.

You will need a private vehicle. There is no public transportation in this area. Uber & taxis will service the area, but there is no local service.

*Nashville - 3 hrs
*Atlanta - 4 hrs

Doggy bag station provided in private pet yard and also throughout resort, please pick up after your furry friends.

Our guests’ safety and health is very important to us. To ensure we have adequate time to clean and sanitize, we cannot offer late check-out or early check-in. Please arrange your travel plans to check in anytime after 4:00 pm and check out no later than 10:00 am.

**If you wish to arrive before 4:00 pm, you are welcome to book the night before your stay if it is available. We do not allow late check out.
