The Little River Farmhouse is a fully renovated, rustic-modern home set on 3 private acres beside the beautiful Little River in the heart of Townsend, Tennessee. With a backdrop of vineyards, blueberry patches, and towering 100-year-old trees, it’s the perfect blend of seclusion and convenience — a place where families, couples, and friends can truly relax while staying close to all the Smoky Mountain adventures.

For your security, there are three exterior cameras on the property:
1. On the corner of the house facing the driveway
2. On the carport looking back toward the driveway

Spotless, beautiful home with great outdoor spaces as well. Host was welcoming and very responsive when I had questions. A well stocked kitchen, nice grill, and the hot tub was amazing. The master bed was unbelievably comfortable. Everything about The Little Farmhouse was perfect for our stay!

Country Beauty on the Peaceful Side of the Smokies

Our stay at The Little Farmhouse was the perfect getaway. The house is nestled on the edge of a vineyard, but just minutes from the center of town. Check in was convenient and Jennifer was the perfect host. She answered any questions we had within minutes. The house was spotless. WiFi access was seamless. Thanks for a great experience.

Wonderful property and location.

Our family totally enjoyed the property. Great location and beautiful property with many amenities. The children and adults loved the path to the river where they could tube and the large back yard to play baseball and frisbee golf. The location was close to great restaurants and drivable to Cades Cove and Gatlinburg. It was a wonderful experience and we hope to stay here again.

Our number one spot on VRBO

This cabin is spectacular. It has been well maintained by the owner and is easily one of the best rentals our family has used on VRBO. Jennifer was our point of contact, and I can't speak highly enough about how professional and helpful she was during our stay. If you want to relax in the foothills of the Smokey Mountains in a beautiful cabin next to a river, this is your spot! We highly recommend the Little Farmhouse On the River!

The house was everything we needed to get away with a family of four. Plenty attention to details, things like setting out towels by the door so we could relax in the hot tub after a long drive. Had everything we need to relax either by the fire or by the river. Really close to the national park so we didnt have to drive far.

My son and I came for spring break and had the best time. Great location, close to lots of hikes and attractions. We both loved the river access. Amazing Getaway

Peaceful paradise

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was a perfect place to have a relaxing family vacation. We loved the river and the hot tub, and had a great time roasting marshmallows in the evenings. My husband and daughter had a grand time gathering black walnuts that had fallen from the many trees around the house. The house was clean and very welcoming. The only problem was we had to leave at the end of our vacation!

Vacation with the grands

Lovely weekend! The boys loved the river and the girls loved the hot tub. Evenings were great for grilling and bon fire with s’mores. The accommodations were amazing and very, very clean. Everything we needed was there for us. Hostess was so nice! Even text us when the house was clean and invited us to enter earlier than check in time!

Jjst book it! It was so comfortable and well appointed. They thought of everything, down to the kitchen supplies, hot tub, bathroom amenities, comfortable beds and sheets, yard games, board games, etc. This place is a gem and we will definitely be back.
