For a motel this place was really nice. Clean good size rooms and excellent service and front desk area. They had pop ice and snacks you could get for the room.

No hot water. Owner promised to refund half of charge for the room for this MAJOR INCONVENIENCE and never followed through. Poor lighting. Dirty carpeting in room. Very disappointed. Room felt dingy and dark.

Easy access, motel, close to Ludington, easy drive to the lake. Televisions are very small and access to channels that loaded very slowly,was difficult. Property was clean, could have enjoyed a seating area somewhere outside of the room.

Serves the purpose

Not your corporate experience. The room was adequate, bed was large and comfy, room and place was a bit quirky. Schitt's Creek comes to mind, but it wasn't Twin Peaks.

A great option

Our stay at the Grand Traverse Motel was thoroughly enjoyable. Though the room was on the small side, it was very clean. The best thing about it was how well the air conditioning unit cooled the room during sleep hours. (This is consistently a problem at many other facilities.). The care for the motel is evident from the outside environment that is nicely decorated and the grounds are well cared for.
