The property advertises really great photos of rooms but gave me a room that didn’t quite look like the pictures. We actually booked so we could soak in the hot tub but that was “not available due to weather.” Even if it were available, though, it looked pretty filthy like they hadn’t cleaned it in a while. The room was dated, the pillows were super uncomfortable and the walls are so thin it took forever to fall asleep even with a white noise machine working to drown out the stomping and yelling from guests above and in the halls. Only positive thing I can say is the check in was easy, the staff was friendly, it’s has a really cool and unique lobby/lounge area, and most importantly, they issued me a refund because we couldn’t stay the two nights we intended to.

This property is very dated and uncared for. I was here on business. The first room I asked to be moved and they accommodated me. Then I had to ask for anew TV, my t would not come on. Then first morning, I noticed the hot water in my shower was very weak (just barely warm) even if the water was turned to as hot as it would go! Then, on mornings 2 and 3, I ran completely out of water about the time I got soap on my hair. On morning 4, I realized that the water was warm if it was just tub water and no shower. Well, who wants to sit in a TUB in this HOTEL!! I am now sick!!! I did tell the front desk that I was having issues and they did not offer to move me!

In desperate need of renovation. The dining/bar/ atrium area is very dark. The bathrooms are locked because of the homeless in the area. But that is also in restaurants in the area as well. Room has everything you need, but it is from the 1960s.

Shabby, but comfy place to stay. The hotel could use some updates, but it was clean and comfortable. And the breakfast was excellent! Tons of options and all tasty. The one major issue we had was that our shower ran out of hot water and we weren't taking long showers! Brrrr...

I like this property but I had too wait close to an hour to check-in because they only had one person at the front desk. It was late in the evening and I wanted to get some rest. I believe some kind od compensation should of been offered. Very inconvenient and irritating

There were several problems checking in. The only desk clerk was on break for 10 minutes while a line formed with guests. The room key was not programmed properly so I had to return to the desk. Once inside the room, the ac fan made a terrible clanking noise when turned. Went back to the front desk and changed the room. The new room did not have the ac panels set properly so the room was warm all night. They repaired it the next day and the ac worked fine. The toilet overflowed requiring a repair.

A forever customer no matter what.

The room was pretty clean but the toilet was running all night with what looked like dirt in the tub. Thankfully I travel with cleaning supplies and cleaned my room before using the shower but it was off putting. The whole floor I was on smelled like smoke very strong as well and since my husband dislikes the smell of smoke we found ourselves spraying as we walked out the room to drown out that smell from the hallways. Outside of those little things the customer service was great especially the staff. I will always come here simply because it’s the last place I was able to celebrate my grandparents and see them alive. The Viscount will always have my love and business.

You sort of get what you pay for...

We knew it wasn't a new hotel but the fact that we put in the very back of a nearly empty one didn't help. The wifi signal was so weak that the TV in the bedroom couldn't find it and neither could our phones after they were turned off at night, so in the morning they wouldn't reconnect until we went for breakfast (which was included and good) in the front lobby. It has a pool and it was nice and well kept. The staff was friendly but didn't go out of the way. Also on the last day of our stay the light over the mirror burnt out and when we reported it they didn't seem surprised.

They forgot we were staying there

We stayed for 7 days, housekeeping never came to clean the room or even to empty the trash good thing there was a bigger trash can right outside our room. It was like they forgot we were staying there, the hotel is huge I think is 4 levels but is pretty empty and super outdated, furniture is falling apart, horrible stains everywhere, our toilet was running 24x7 🙄 overall it was a very bad experience. We will never stay here again

Nice Overnight Trip - Great stay!

We made an overnight trip and didn't know the area so we went with a National name (Ramada). The hotel was very nice. It's a little older but is well maintained. Staff is super friendly and the room was spacious, clean and comfy!

One room was infested with roaches.... at 1st they told us we couldn't move because it was sold out, second day they were able to move us but then bath tub was plugged up. Maintenance went 3 times to try unplug it and had no success

I find something interesting of a lot of the comments about this place are so negative.But I grew up in the '80s and this place yes definitely has an '80s vibe or '90s vibe there's still some mauve carpet and it just has that feel from that time. True the rooms are old the furniture is outdated. At least in our room the floor was all vinyl plank. Now let's talk about cleanliness. The room that we were in was very clean the bed the bathroom everything smelled clean the sheets were clean. The water was hot when I took a shower in the morning. So I don't see any complaint there. Then there was that nice little restaurant downstairs called Wilbur's. They have a good bar some good beer some really good fish and chips. I think that the whole place has a great potential. It has a great area for huge gatherings. The pool is beautiful the workout room is nice. I'm just saying we went and filmed all this and there's going to be a video up of it on YouTube and it wasn't as bad as everybody was making it out to be. Yes it is old yes there are some broken things, but it's kind of cool like I said the retro vibe there I think they should go on that. We had a great time the breakfast was awesome and I recommend this place.

The staff were very helpful in anything I needed, even with small things such as needing extra toiletries or finding the on switch for the hot tub in the dark. The place was fancy, breakfast was excellent. Had a little trouble with WiFi in the room at times and the speaker on the television in the sleeping quarters occasionally didn't work, but it was a great stay all in all
