A full kitchen and dedicated workspace make this retreat as functional as it is beautiful.

Our recently renovated home was designed with your comfort and relaxation in mind; it is equipped with modern amenities such as central AC for hot summer days and wireless internet access for streaming your favorite shows in the living area each night. The private back patio is the perfect place to sip your morning coffee as you watch the sun rise over the Catalina mountains and light up the iconic saguaro cacti that surround you. The home boasts green features including solar power (from panels located on the host's home next door) and greywater to help make your stay more sustainable. A fully equipped kitchen complete with brand new appliances, a toaster, Keurig, coffee pot, pots, pans, and more offers everything you need for whipping up delicious homemade meals during your stay. Enjoy your meals at the kitchen bar, dining table, or private outdoor patio table. There's not a bad seat in the house! The cozy bedrooms each have a queen sized bed, stunning views of the Catalina mountains, and a dresser so you can unpack and really settle in while you're here. A dedicated work space complete with stand-up desk, dual monitors (with HDMI cords), and an office chair provide a comfortable work-from-home environment whether you have just one email to send or need to work the whole day. Visiting with children? Contact your host to ask about using a portable crib, high chair, or whatever else might you may need to help make your stay more comfortable!

When you visit us the whole house is yours, including two covered parking spaces. What's more, you'll have a private patio to enjoy Tucson's beautiful weather and gorgeous views. A shared gravel road in front of your home provides easy access past your host's home and right up to a gate into the Sweetwater Preserve where miles of trails await!


Other things to note:
This desert home is situated in a peaceful neighborhood where neighbors enjoy the quiet of their spacious properties. We ask that you carefully review the directions we provide so as to make finding our home as easy as possible and avoid driving down the wrong driveway. You'll find our home at the end of a winding, scenic drive up into the foothills of the Tucson Mountains. The last quarter mile of driving is down a dusty private dirt road, giving the trip the feel of a real adventure!
