When you are ready to take a break, take the elevator the restaurant (The Deck with a great eating space that looks out over the beach) is just a few steps outside of your front door.

All of our condos have elevator access. Covered parking under the buildings is optional. This condo also offers washer and dryer, full kitchen with all full size appliances, linens, private WiFi connection, and cable.

Beachside Colony Resort occupies an entire oceanfront block. We offer unparalleled access to both the beach and pools, making it the most convenient destination on Tybee Island. Our recently constructed pools feature a spacious heated pool for year-round enjoyment, alongside an expansive family-friendly sloping entry pool. The pool area is complemented by outdoor lounge seating, providing a relaxing atmosphere for guests. Additionally, our onsite restaurant, The Deck Bar and Kitchen, boasts a walk-up bar, ensuring that refreshments are always within reach. Whether you're soaking up the sun or taking a refreshing dip, our amenities are designed to elevate your stay to new heights of relaxation and enjoyment.

Located oceanfront, our resort enjoys a prime location in the heart of Tybee Island. Situated midway between the pier, the island's center for shopping and nightlife, and the historic Tybee Light Station, one of America's seven colonial-era lighthouses still in operation, we offer unparalleled access to the island's key attractions.

With this mid-island location, guests can easily explore these iconic landmarks and soak in the rich history and vibrant culture of Tybee Island. Moreover, our mid-island location ensures convenience, with a variety of shops and restaurants within walking distance, allowing guests to immerse themselves fully in the island's charm and offerings.

Conveniently situated directly across the street from Beachside Colony is Tybee's Memorial Park, offering a wealth of recreational opportunities for guests to enjoy. This picturesque park is home to various amenities, including tennis courts, sand volleyball courts, basketball courts, and a captivating playground suitable for children of all ages. The Island’s YMCA is adjacent to Memorial Park and offers day passes for visiting guests. Additionally, the park features picnic and grill areas, making it an ideal setting for small to large family gatherings and social events.

If you would like to travel with your dog(s), we allow up to two dogs, with the addition of a one time $100 pet fee per dog. Cats are not allowed.

Everything was great... check-in was a little difficult because we got there after-hours and the text they sent for check-in never came through. Think they should also email the information. Thankfully we ran into a "nice" Karen and she took care of us. Beautiful island... beautiful place... 100% would/will do this again and stay here again.

Quiet condo at Beachside Colony. It was furnished with with immediate needs... shampoo, conditioner, soap, dish soap, etc. The attached restaurant, The Deck, was delicous! Pool was clean.Beach access was easy. Plenty of room for 2 people. Good communication for arrival and departure. Only 3 cons... no windows or balcony for sunshine, floors were dirty and turned your feet black if barefoot. You had to go out the front door to see what the weather was like for the day because you had no way of seeing outside.

Perfect location and price!

We loved this location! It was great to have all the amenities of Beachside Colony and such easy beach access at a great price. This condo is an interior unit that does not have a balcony and it was perfect for us because we were there to enjoy the pool and beach! One day there was an afternoon storm and we spent time at the onsite restaurant for a late lunch. The new pools are huge! We loved spending afternoons by the pool reading and relaxing. Beachside Colony had it all! The convenience of the onsite rental office with beach chair and umbrella rentals was so helpful. We even bought some cute t-shirts! They offer 10% to returning guests and we will definitely be back. We also loved the other restaurants within walking distance. Can’t wait to come back and enjoy fall on Tybee!

Needs more that 2 towels for 3 nights. Bedroom TV needs better instructions. We never got the comcast box to come on. The living room TV was fine. Note: Shower head probably needs tighting with some teflon pluming tape. It's dripping directly down and is probably what causes that area on the wall next to the tub to need repair.

You Have Some Work To Do

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For the price of this condo, the king bed is absolutely terrible! We didn’t get much sleep during our stay due to the bed squeaking at every little movement, the headboard wound bang on the wall if you turn over in the bed and the mattress is so lumpy you can feel every lump. The bed looks nice, but I invite 2 people to lay on that bed and experience what we had to deal with. Instead of returning home refreshed, we returned tired and ready for a good nights sleep. There were also obvious repairs that had been done in bathroom and bedroom that were very poorly done. The pools and restaurant were nice but the hours of operation were restrictive. It would be nice to receive sone refunded compensation after y’all verify the issues with the bedding in this condo.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We chose this location because the wedding party was staying here. However, the beds were so uncomfortable. Neither of us slept much the time we were there. Also, we were only supplied with 2 towels. Which means if we wanted to go to the pool or shower again, we would have to wash our own towels. Seemed quite silly considering this is for vacation. I would recommend not staying at this specific condo especially during hurricane season. We didn't have power for over 24 hours and it was very dark due to being inside the property. I wouldn't stay at this condo again though due to the very very very very uncomfortable hard as rock beds and the lack of towels.

Disappointing

Rating Details: The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First I had to go to the office to get toilet paper, paper towels and tissues as there was barely a quarter of a roll and no back ups. Then later on when I tried to use the pull out bed there were no sheets or blankets and the office was closed so I had to sleep with the extra towels as blankets. The bathroom door was broken and doesn’t shut all the way. The bathroom fan was super loud and there was mold on the shower curtain. The washing machine also smelled like mold. The bed was so squeaky and loud I couldn’t sleep past 3 am without moving to the couch. I was told about a pirate festival which was great but not about the fishing tournament that took up 80% of the beach so even though we were on the beach we had to pack up and drive down the island to swim.

It was easy to set up and walk back and forth. The pools were clean and not crowded. The kids had a great time! We will be back. We found the grills and next time will make use of them.

Very Nice Getaway

Did not get bedroom air conditioner to work, but everything else was as advertised. Believe some other rooms were more updated, but price was good. Pool, restaurant and access to the beach made stay relaxing. We found mid-beach to provide the most space of the beaches and this rental is right there. Short drive anywhere of interest on the island.

I very much enjoyed Tybee Island, days on the beach were outstanding and the management company was most helpful and available. The property's description and photos were deceptive and misleading. Had I known the unit had only one window which led in indirect light, I'd have opted for another property. The pictures led me to believe there was a balcony and ample space; but in actuality, it was very small, dark, and dated. The cooking utensils were dilapadated, worn, and barely functional. Walking barefoot or with white socks left the bottom of our feet very dirty. For the most part we ate salads and were forced to have lights on in each room all the while we were inside the unit. It wasn't a huge deal, just a surprise.Steps to the beach was ideal and the biggest selling point and great convenience. The onsite restaurant was excellent and the staff was most friently and welcoming. Defintitly worth staying there, just not in the unit I selected.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location and the very friendly and helpful people running the place. The onsite restaurant and pool areas were also great. The room itself was a bit disappointing for the price, but it did the job. The bed was very uncomfortable, the ice machine for the refrigerator didn’t work (and the water that came from the dispenser on the refrigerator was not drinkable), floors were generally sticky and we found items from a prior guest under the bed. The bed also wasn’t made properly- there was no fitted sheet, only a top sheet tucked over the mattress. The TV was also quite small for the bedroom and glitchy. That said, we loved being so close to the beach. Parking was also easy.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This particular rental is not the greatest as it is tucked into a hallway and gets no natural light. But we were not at the beach to stay inside all the time. It has a great kitchen and we did cook one of our 3 nights there. And we did laundry as washer and dryer is inside the unit. The resort itself has a nice pool area and nice dog potty spot (a lot of places I've stayed did not give pup this much space and REAL grass). The beach in front of the resort is lovely. The area was quiet and I felt safe. The staff was very sweet and helpful. I don't think the restaurant belongs to the resort, but it was nice and staff there was very efficient for a very very busy place. I thought that the facility was very clean and well maintained. I was unhappy, however, with the unit as the floor was gritty and dusty even before we went to the beach. I wished they would have a mop in the cleaning closets for the guests. I realize that it is difficult to keep floors spotless in a beach area, but I would have mopped the floors myself as I was not convinced they were cleaned prior to our arrival. Not my first beach rental, so I am fairly certain they were not.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This hidden gem is becoming our go to for a quick trip to Tybee Island. We love the oceanfront pool and restaurant and this suite is clean and well maintained when we are ready to call it a day. Although it has no balcony or view, the easy beach access and amenities at Beachside Colony make it our favorite place on Tybee!

Beachside Colony Suite -Quick Trip, Great Price

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This suite was great for our 3 night stay. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked, although we mainly just used the coffee maker and then headed out to explore Tybee each day. It is located off the top floor corridor near the elevator. It does not have a balcony or view, which explains the lower price. This was a great option for us because we spent most of our days by the pool or biking around Tybee. We love the new pool area. We have visited several times now and keep coming back. Many things continue to improve over the years and we look forward to coming again in the fall.

Quiet condo for active couple.

We enjoyed this location because the kitchen had everything we needed for meals and without the balcony and beach view it was much more affordable for us. We spent our days on the beach, biking and relaxing by the pool later in the day. The bed was very comfortable and the condo was clean and well equipped. We plan to come back again in the spring and would definitely recommend this condo.

This property has one window that faces the outside hallway. It’s kinda depressing to get up to darkness…especially when the sun is shining outside but you don’t even know it. The floor was pretty sandy but wasn’t a big deal. Check out, with stripping the beds, taking garbage to dumpsters, etc., I did start to wonder what we paid the cleaning fee for! Overall, good stay. Wouldn’t stay again only because of the one window issue.
