I was extremely disappointed with this property. Upon opening the door, my first observation was the strong smell of smoke. The smell is especially strong on the main floor, so we spent most of our time in what looks to be a newer/remodeled top floor with a delightful balcony. (the smell had permeated into the bath towels that were supplied.)The main floor, especially, does not match the pictures on the listing. It is dark and the furniture is older. There are multiple pieces of furniture and an area rug with large stains.When I arrived, the kitchen counter still had water marks from glasses and the fridge had water marks and smears. The place generally seemed not clean, so I did not cook, which I had planned to.I came for a working vacation, and the Internet was unreliable upstairs, and the combination of a dark main floor and the smoke smell made it undesirable to work on the main floor. I finally did talk to somebody from the call center who advised me to reset the router, which provided a few hours of improved connectivityThis property seems to be managed by people at a call center, using a manual about the property to answer questions. Communication was slow. When I tried to call local numbers, they came up as disconnected. At one point, the communication was so impersonal, it felt like it was coming from an AI chat bot. (the person I finally talked to on the phone assured me it was his colleague.)The location was great and the upstairs balcony was lovely.
