Stunning views and peaceful.

We stayed 2 nights in an estate room just me and the hubby, then our adult kids and my parents joined us Friday to Monday for my 50th birthday and we stayed in a four bedroom valley view lodge with a hot tub. We were very lucky as had sun the whole time we were there. Room was lovely, lodge was amazing. Lodge was fabulous inside and out and the views were amazing. Stunning views everywhere, the whole place is so well kept and beautiful. Activities for those who want them, we tried archery. Inside pool was large and nice but parts of it could do with a little tlc, however I wouldn’t mark it down for that because everything else was so good. Outside pool wasn't open yet. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Holly on reception was brilliant and super helpful and Shelby and James that did the archery with us were really lovely. Will definitely stay again.

Wonderful resort with great customer service

Great family resort with beautiful gardens. We had a room overlooking a lovely garden that is great when you have pets and a small patio area to sunbathe. Breakfast was great and restaurant food ok. The Exeter Inn a few mins walk away is pet friendly and food is excellent. Indoor pool area was lovely and not very busy. Great fitness room as well.

Lovely hotel

Lovely hotel. Clean and tidy. Food at the hotel was good. Only negative was that I dropped my earring on the floor pulled the bed out and found loads of bugs, made me itch once I found out I had slept next to them. Just hope none have come home with me.

Overall, we had a good stay at the Mole Resort. 3.5 stars ⭐️ There was a lot of activities to do, inside and out. The leisure facilities were a little outdated, however they were usable. The Jacuzzi was cold and the sauna was very small. Our room was great, as was the Manor. We stayed in the Manor Snug. Unfortunately the bed and pillows were very hard which meant we didn’t sleep the best. The food was amazing for us both, no complaints from us. We ate dinner and breakfast there. The servers were very attentive and friendly.

Disappointing Stay

We stayed in the Manor House which is dated and in need of renovation. Unfortunately the curtains in our room were broken and hanging in an arkward way which meant they couldnt be used properly and had to resort to eye masks. In addition, there was no hot water in our room which was disappointing and I had a cold shower. The breakfast is expensive and small, it is not an all you can eat. We wanted a get away from the kids but had to put up with all this instead! The staff were helpful and have been offered a discount off our next stay but not sure I really want to go back.

Fabulous place with lots to do.

This was our second visit to the Mole, we stayed in the hotel, in the manor suite for our anniversary weekend. The room was amazing, private sauna and steam room, separate lounge, more like an apartment. Very Comfy. The resort itself is beautiful and all the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. We have booked a week to go back and try one of the lodges this time with the whole family.
