Plus qu’un hôtel… de véritables suites

Parfait pour les voyageurs qui veulent être un peu autonome grâce à la petite cuisine. Par contre, l’hôtel n’est pas super insonorisé (probablement à cause de la conception en bétons). De plus, pour les voyageurs d’affaires… il n’y a pas de planche et fer à repasser…. Amenez-vous des chemises sans repassage. À date, ça reste le meilleur hôtel que j’ai pu trouver à Val d’Or pour mes voyages d’affaires.

Excellent séjour. Les chambres sont toutes neuves et entièrement équipées d’une cuisine. Le style est moderne (avec des murs de ciment dans la salle de bain) mais moi j’aime bien.

Comfortable beds and spacious room with a well equiped kitchen. The unfinished cement walls are not very appealing and made the room feel cold and a bit uncomfortable especially in the bathroom. There is only 1 elevator and it is very slow and makes strange noises. We had to wait 3 times with our trolly of luggage to be able to have room in the elevator when we were leaving. The elevator was full with other guests each time and also used by cleaning staff with laundy trolly etc. The security deposit is $300 so if you book with a tight budget be prepared for that as it could be a couple days before it frees up on your card. There are well stocked vending machines in the canteen area. They ony have the espresso coffee machine in the room which we do not like, so we went to the coffee machine in the canteen, but it is not in service even though it is a new hotel and the unit looks installed and ready to use. Same for the juice dispener there.
