I normally have a great stay here but there was no hot water this morning and the normally really good breakfast looked like it was all heat and serve. Not discouraging anyone from staying here just may have has an off day.

Comfortable stay, good location. Has all the amenities except for A/C and elevator (in case anyone can’t do stairs, would not advise). Dining, shopping and perfect views just steps outside. If you want to cast a line, plenty of great fishing.

This hotel has a great location on the Valdez harbor and is adjacent to the main areas of town. The rooms were comfortable and functional. The nicest aspect of the hotel was the casual and friendly vibe. The staff were friendly, helpful and sociable. The hotel had a rustic ambiance. There was a decent common area and nice breakfast. It didn't have a guest laundry or exercise room, but the location made up for that. Overall, this was a good stay.

Disgusting! This needs a total make-over. Booked two nights but left at daybreak after the first night. Pipes gurgled all night long. No sleeping in this place. Restaurant was closed at night because the cook was sick.
