I was not able to check into this hotel due to not having a credit card. Most hotels will allow you to put a $500 deposit on your debit, but not this one. The reason for it according to the front desk staff: "we don't take Canadian debit." My response "but we are in Canada." Apparently it's an American company and they don't have a system in place for that. Fortunately, Expedia gave me a full refund and I stayed without issue at The North Vancouver Hotel just next door. It was very comfortable and affordable and it doesn't smell strongly perfumed like the lobby of this one did. I do not recommend.

We booked through Expedia, we arrived at the hotel to check in. The hotel apparently had no record of our reservation from Expedia. The hotel was not interested in helping us- they stated fhey were fully booked. It was a weekend, 4:30 in the afternoon, in Vancouver with no place to stay- 75 years old, I don"t know how to book on my phone. Thanks alot to whoever screwed our reservation and left us in a real predicament.

I checked in online but the lady at the front desk wanted me to fill out paper again. Then, she asked me if I was BW member and, when I said "no", she told me how I'm getting free parking like a member but there is no breakfast. Then she said "but you get a coffee in the room", as if this is some genius marketing feature. She's said that 5 years ago too (!) When I did make the coffee... there were no stir sticks in the sugar/napkin packets - three of four were opened. The fridge was loud, everytime the compressor started. The noise from people walking in the room above and at the adjacent staircase was also quite noticeable (especially early in the morning). The parking is awkward and tight, compared to the neighbouring hotels (also free). Overall, it is clean, decent and equipped like any hotel in this price range, I only booked this reward night there as it was the only one still available in that location.

I like this place I booked 2 rooms one for 2 nites other one nite I went office told 117 Was checking out 118 was staying the guy said ok but went for breakfast they kept bang on door telling my son gt out then when I gt back later that I couldn't open our room door so I went office lady gave my nother key Then she gt guy follow me to my room I did not like it 4 them telling my son gt out I payed 2 nites they didn't even say sorry for happen
