This location is magical and the hosts have put much thought and care into creating a space that provides great comfort and convenience for their guests. A short 20-minute ferry ride from West Seattle and then a 10 minute drive from the Vashon ferry dock, the place is easy to find with the host-provided directions. Mary Ann provided a warm and informative welcome upon arrival, introducing us to the property and its many amenities. The house is perfect for any length of stay, as it is comfortable, spacious and very well-equipped with a new kitchen and open floor plan that turns the kitchen, living and dining room into a great gathering space. In early March we were blessed with unexpectedly pleasant weather - but a beach location like this would be great at any time of year, rain or shine. The kitchen is very updated and thoroughly equipped with all one needs. There are ample linens wherever needed (kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom). There are games galore, as well as DVDs and streaming services. There is also very useful tourist info; the hosts have thought of everything useful and practical! There is a glorious outdoor patio space; we even hung out there in the March weather. We watched boats daily and delighted in watching two eagles from a nest just a short way down the beach. The great-grandma in our group easily managed the one step up the porch to get into the place. The queen bed was too high for her, but the twin perfect. We plan to go again!
