The hotel was updated and very clean, and the beds were wonderful. We had a view of Ventura Harbor which was beautiful and it was a very quiet setting .The restaurants were very close, about a 10 minute walk along a sidewalk along the harbor directly from the hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The included breakfast was excellent. We would absolutely stay here again!

The check in was easy, the staff were friendly and efficient. It was easy to park near our room. The room was very clean and the view overlooking the marina was excellent. The only part I really have to complain about is the lighting in the room was uniformly a glaring cold white hue which made it seem more like a laboratory than a hotel room.

The rates per night. They're outrageous, also, the charges for parking. I requested a receipt when checking out. They said I would not get one until the third party would send it to me. I've stayed there twice in the past. Each time the rates go up higher and higher when there are hotels in the area that are much cheaper. I don't feel I will be staying there again. I am still waiting for my receipt.

1) Only 1/2 the light fixtures worked - 2) had to buy new batteries for tv remote- 3) shower over flowed and would not drain- we stayed at this hotel about 2 years ago and they said they were "Replumbing" the property as it had the same problem then ...LOL 2 years later the second floor is still have the backed up shower so you stand in the sewer water from the last person! 4) The "breakfast buffet" eggs sausage were cold - not even warm to the touch. 5) they claim to have a pool & Jacuzzi but you have to drive a different hotel down the street - 1/4 mile away!!! 6) they don't change sheets or bring fresh DRY towels each day- that's ok - BUT when we asked the maid for dry towels you would have thought we were asking for her pay-check! All in All the worst Hotel experience I have had in many years!
