Stylish farmhouse with pool, sleeps 8-10

Come stay at our freshly-renovated longère named Les Arcis. The 225 year-old home features beamed ceilings and cozy furniture throughout, giving it a sense of quality and charm. It has four bedrooms, three brand new baths, and its public rooms are newly freshened.

The private swimming pool extends the living outdoors and the terrace with its outdoor dining table offers a perfect place to gather. The charcoal grill ensures everything tastes superb.

Les Arcis is about a 10-minute drive from the historic town of Loches with its château, shops, markets, and restaurants.

When we set about renting Les Arcis, our objective was to create a lovely experience for our guests. The two factors we used in designing the house were comfort and style—everything had to live up to that measure.

If you are into castles, Château de Loches is ten minutes away in the center of Loches, and the remarkable Château de Chenonceau is only 35 minutes from the house. Further out are Châteaux de Amboise, Chambord, Villandry, and Azay-le-Rideau.

If you're more sporty, we have a nine-hole golf course just down the way, tennis courts in town, horseback riding nearby, plus cycling and canoeing along the Loire River.

Food and wine are very serious subjects in France and we have three standout restaurants in town, a farmer's market twice a week, five grocery stores, seven bakeries, and even a chocolatier. The area is known for its Sancerres, Chinons, Vouvrays, Anjous, and Saumurs.

Finally, Le Zooparc de Beauval, ranked as one of the top five zoos in the world, is a pleasant 40-minute drive from the house.
