Perfect location for those arriving by train!

We couldn't have been happier than our choice to stay at this hotel. It was a short walk from the train station and a short walk to central Verona so the location was ideal. Our room was right above the main entrance and the only one that I noticed that had a balcony. It was only suited for standing and looking at the city, but nice to have. The room was large, clean and a good value. We especially loved the buffet breakfast with so many food choices and a very nice garden area to sit it. Got the day started right! If you stay here then I highly recommend Da Vito Restaurant, just around the corner. A small, family ran place with fantastic pasta dishes at reasonable prices. It was by far our fav.

Lovely adult only small hotel. Perfectly situated in Verona, only a 10 minute walk to the centre . Good breakfast We were late arriving an the keys were left out for us with an email giving us the key code for entry

The hotel is in a fabulous location that allows easy access to both the city centre, Castelvechia and train station for day trips away. The breakfast selection and eating area is lovely, with very attentive staff and a good selection of food. The receptionist we dealt with, Norman, was very helpful and was happy to go above and beyond when neede. In short, happy to recommend and would gladly stay here agai.

Overall, this is a fantastic place. It's a good compromise location mid-way between the train station and the historic centre. It's not in a characterful area itself but there is a grocery store nearby. The property itself is very characterful, preserving its historic elements. It has a beautiful central courtyard which our room opened directly onto. Our suite, the Garden Room, was wonderful and well appointed, and had a large separate living room with ceiling beams. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Hotel Scalzi

Good, clean family run hotel. Adults only, so quiet , especially at breakfast, nice ambience in the dinning room. Comfortable, wee bit quirky in the set up, but no complaints. Good buffet breakfast with cold meats, cheese and cakes , pastries etc. Well located for railway station and old town . Trips to Milan, Venice and lake Garda resorts all easily managed

El hotel no cuenta con ascensor y ofrece un estacionamiento que se encuentra a más de 200 metros del mismo. No se recomenda para mayores, para personas con movilidad reducida o personas que carguen varias maletas.

The beds are not comfortable, the walls are paper thin and the TV next door kept us up until 2am. Also mosquitos attacked us at night and the air conditioner didn’t seem to work. Worst sleep of our trip. The hotel itself is very well decorated. Also has 28 steps with no elevator so mobility impaired people beware.
