Welcome to your very private 10 acre piece of Kentucky at its best. Our stay features the Kentucky Palisades, a cedar cabin nestled in the Thoroughbred Capital of the World and is also conveniently located on the Bourbon Trail! This peaceful riverfront property has two bedrooms, comfortably sleeps six, has an acre pond with a floating dock, a boat ramp at the end of our driveway and easy access to Keeneland. Whether you are looking to explore the Bluegrass or just relax and recharge, this stay will accommodate both.

We absolutely loved it! The location was beautiful. It’s nice and quiet. Very clean. The gazebo on the water was really nice! Nice sized fire pit. The inside of the cabin was super cute and supplied most of what we needed for cooking and cleaning. And the price was definitely affordable! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, secluded getaway along the Kentucky River.

Nice hideaway in beautiful area

Beautiful drive through "horse country" to get to this cozy and immaculately clean cabin. The owner's driveway goes through the front yard but otherwise you are in complete seclusion, with sounds and sights of nature all around. Great place to hide away and relax after exploring horse and bourbon fun nearby.

We were seeking something private, clean and quiet with some specific amenities and found it! This spot felt remote but was not far from anything. Perfect Getaway

We loved the cabin and property. Very comfortable, clean, and cozy. We were able to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The hosts were welcoming and responsive. Only suggestion is to have a place for large luggage. Other than that, perfect!

The perfect cabin

What a great find! We loved our stay. The cabin was exceptionally clean (you can't tell they allow dogs) and in a serene area. We loved having the pond (and floating living room!) and caught some fish. My son enjoyed playing football and running around all the grassy areas and using the firepit for s'mores. We even ventured through the small woods to the shores of the Kentucky River which is just behind the pond. The pictures don't do this cabin justice. It's about a 25-minute drive to downtown Versailles. We enjoyed being further away to get some peace and quiet. We'll definitely return!

Awesome cabin. Had a great time with my family there. Very clean and everything looked brand new. There’s a blackstone grill on the porch that we didn’t get to use this trip but was very tempting. Would definitely come here again.
