Very cute and clean house

We had a great long weekend and really enjoyed the house. It was very clean! It was perfect for our family of 5. The walk to the beach was quick and easy. We were missing bath towels, mats and kitchen towels so we had to use beach towels. Fortunately, we brought our own beach towels and there were plenty of beach towels provided at the house. The bunk bedroom no longer has the single twin that the listing shows, bunk bed only. We would definitely book this house again!!

A true gem in a wonderful neighborhood

We booked this house to take my mother for a getaway week. She had been to Cape May many times in her life, with my father, and I had been there as a child. Never in the past, however, had we ventured into this area of Cape May. We really missed out! The neighborhood is absolutely wonderful, and this property is just a very short walk to the beach. We felt very safe and the area was quiet and peaceful. We found the house to be exactly as described and shown in the pictures. It was clean and comfortable and fairly well-appointed. Lots of beach towels were provided, which was great. The back yard is VERY cute and comfortable. Sadly, we didn't get much chance to enjoy it as is was so hot and humid during our stay. It would make a lovely place for an evening drink around the fire pit. We had no issues during our stay, but the communication we had with the owners was timely and accurate. Overall, this was the perfect place for our trip and we could not have been more pleased!!

Terrific setting

House is in a quiet, easily accessed neighborhood. One block walk to quiet bay beach. Three outdoor areas available for meeting. The layout indoors was ideal for a family of three [more children could be accommodated] in one area and a pair of grandparents in another. Large appliance capacity for food and laundry; endless hot water. Many amenities are provided as outlined in the property summary. Would definitely return with a similar mix of family members. Our many thanks to Amanda and Mike for use of this house!

Cape May Getaway

This house was as expected. The kids room was super cute and our son loved having his own room. It was nice they also had a pack and play which was super convenient so we didn’t have to bring our own. The beach is nice and close and was fun to just walk down to at night. We definitely recommend staying here we had a great time and felt right at home!

It was a great place to stay! The location to local sightseeing places around Cape May is good. Riptide had everything we needed for our stay (linens, towels, kitchen essentials). The neighborhood was very quiet and the neighbors were very friendly. A short walk to the beach as well.

Great home in the lovely location. A short walk to the bay. Watched a beautiful sunset. Accommodations were as described. Very clean and a great neighborhood. Would definitely come back.

Wonderful 2nd visit!

This was our 2nd stay at Riptide. The house, and all it has to offer, is great! The hosts are easy to communicate with and have thought of many extras to make your stay enjoyable. We enjoyed grilling, the new fire pit, use of beach supplies and more.The adults, in our family, ranged in age from 15-92. We enjoyed walking our dog at the bay, shopping and sunsets at Cape May. Also the beach & boardwalk in Wildwood. The house is in a quiet area and a great location! In fact, we had such a good time, that we will be back next summer. Thank you, Amanda & Mike, for all you do. It is much appreciated!

Riptide

It is a beautiful house. And perfect for large families with children. Plenty of activities, board games and books for the children, teens and adults. The beach is easily accessible and beautiful as well. The hosts are very accurate in their layout of the rules, check in and out process. I highly recommend anyone who would like to stay at thos location. We had a wonderful stay. Sincerely D. Schemm

Peace and Quiet

Spacious, quiet place to stay with a lovely little garden. Close to the beach too. The kids enjoyed having beds together with their own tv! We liked that there were beach toys to use and beach chairs. The beds were very comfortable - great nights sleep! We would love to stay there again.

Wonderful Cape May Getaway!

From first entry to exit, this charming home provided a great location for our last-minute getaway. The hosts were extremely helpful and all amentities were beyond described. Excellent location provided proximity to bay and fun outdoor dining within just minutes. We are definitely looking to return to this lovely location. Great for a short stay.

Nice accommodations, great communication with property owners. The owners allowed us to check in early. The kitchen could be updated but it is clean and all the appliances are new. Overall a great bargain.

Wonderful experience!

My family, ranging from 14 - 91 years old, all had a great time! The house was clean and had all we needed. The location, with the bay so close, was perfect. Our 14 year old had fun looking for Cape May diamonds and our family dog loved the beach walks. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The only negative was that our visit wasn't long enough! Thank you, Amanda & Mike, for offering your house to us!

Close to Bay Beach

My mother, my two large dogs and I stayed here for a few days in April. We absolutely loved how easy it was to get to the beach with the dogs for their daily walks. The yard is securely fenced (although my one dog isn't a fan of other dogs, so I kept her on lead as the fence in the front/sides is wooden slats). The layout of the home is fabulous, with bedrooms and bathrooms on either end so there was plenty of privacy. The owners were easy to reach and responded quickly, and they allowed us to check in early (which was awesome!). Overall, a wonderful stay and I would book this home again in the future. A suggestion would be to offer more than one housekey (loved the lockbox check in).
