The hotel was great and right in the center of town. The only reason I gave 4 stars for facilities is that there was no communication that the spa would be closed. After long travels, looking forward to a sauna or soak and not being able to get that really dampers the day. Just wish the hotel had sent a note is all.

In the family room was used hard materials to furnish the apartment,- floor was very hard, makes lots of noise, doors to the toilet was very very loud, tiles in the toilet very cold, lights were too bright in the toilet and main room was too dark, so lack of balance in all important areas. during the night kids and parents were walking to the toilet, so they were disturbing those who were sleeping. Bed linnen was very comfortable, soft, especially pillows. What is more, we got a little bit sick after the sandwich with shrimps that most of us had in the restaurant of this hotel. Drinks were good though. The hotel is in the center of the city, so in the evening and quite often during the night and morning we could hear motorolers/motorbikes driving accross the streets. Stores and pharmacy is close to the hotel. Hotel clients are allowed to park their cars in the Coop's parking, so that is a great benefit in this area. Overal experience - not good, next time we will definitely choose something else, where rooms would be more quiet.

Väldigt trevlig personal som gjorde sitt bästa, men de verkade underbemannade. Frukost Vid frukosten var det tomt i de flesta grytor, tallrikar saknades m.m. Trots att klockan bara var 9.15. Tog 20 min extra att äta, pga all väntan. Baconen såg väldigt tråkiga ut, men smakade ok. Bara laktosfri mjölk och yoghurt. Vore gott med vanlig. Rummet Kylskåpet fungerade inte. När man duschade översvämmades halva badrummet, för duschväggen var inte tät vid golvet. Fint med gammaldags blandare till handfatet, men det tar mycket längre tid att få rätt temperatur - riskfyllt för barn och slöseri med vatten. Annars väldigt fint & fräscht rum. Bra gardiner som mörklade ordentligt och trevligt med en utdragbar tv vid sängen.

Fina rum, men otillgängligt med barnvagn

Efter en hel dag på Astrid Lindgrens värld med sovande barn i vagn blev vi aningen less när det visade sig att hotellrummet (familjerum) låg så att man var tvungen att lyfta barnvagnen (Thule cross 2) uppför en smal svängd trappa. Denna var så tight att man var tvungen att lyfta vagnen över själva handledaren för att komma i sväng. Sedan står det en möbel ovanför trappan i utrymningsväg som man behövde flytta på för att komma förbi med vagnen. Vi fick inte byta rum då de inte hade några andra familjerum mer tillgängligt. Detta framgår inte på hotels.com hemsida. Jag tycker att receptionisten kunde ha nämnt detta när hon ser att vi har sovande barn i vagnen. Maten på hotellets restaurang var riktigt bra och restaurangpersonalen var oerhört serviceminded, bra frukost. Stort och bra rum, men sängen var på tok för mjuk. Men härligt med stort badrum och balkong. Väldigt trevlig receptionist när vi checkade ut.

Vackert hotell att trivas på.

Det är ett fint hotell med en avslappnande atmosfär. God mat och sköna loungemöbler. Vacker inredning i de allmänna utrymmena. Gratis parkering. Vi bokade ett dubbelrum med 2 enkelsängar och fick då ett pyttelitet rum, där det såg ut som om man satt in en extrasäng. Den stod framför fönstret, bland element o gardiner. Mitt på väggen var en stor lampa, antagligen tänkt som en sänglampa. Det fanns också endast ett sängbord. Som vanligt gällande de flesta hotellrum fanns bara en stol för 2 personer. Badrummet var precis så stort att man fick plats. Inredning var torftig, spartansk. Garderoben var max 30 cm djup. Allting var minimalistiskt till en kostnad av ca 1600kr hade vi önskat oss lite mer.

The hotel is very authentic. The room was small but clean; the bathroom really tiny. Our kids loved the bunk bed. The breakfast was in a great ambience and the quality of the food good. Astrid Lindgren World is within walking distance, that allowed us to leave the car in the parking garage (free for guests). Also the square outside the hotel was nice to sit at during the evening, with some activities for kids (free mini golf or table tennis).
