The rooms were clean, the doors to the rooms would not close completely. You had to pull them hard to ensure that the door was closed.

We stayed because my daughter had a competition. No one contacted me to tell me there had obviously been some water damage to the hotel. Industrial fans were everywhere. It smelled horrible. People beside us argued late into the night. Was supposed to have a Queen bed. Had a double. Road noise was awful. We had a horrible night sleep. Fans were super load in the hallway. It was have been nice to know prior to arriving to a non-refundable hotel. This made it to where we had to stay.

We love coming to this location because it’s family friendly. Our shower did have a leak that went on all night

Like the location, central to everything near downtown virginia beach. The staff were very friendly. However the building itself is old. They do keep it clean but u can see the grout and silicon trim coming up, in bathrooms can see rust along the tub and floorboards. Paint looks very old and chipping along the door trims. Not what i expect for a candlewood suite.
